Aislinn stayed close to Aegis even though the forest seemed peaceful. If this was where the daemon went, it would pay to be cautious. Since she had no idea how far they were travelling, Aislinn mounted up on the horse, riding was less tiring than walking. With the lack of adequate sleep the previous evening, she could use saving energy. For a moment, she wondered how some elves lacked the need to sleep. Aislinn imagined that took serious training to accomplish. While looking around in the quiet forest, she saw what something that resembled a cross between man and tree. It seemed to be staring at her. The elf blinked and looked back towards the forest, she saw nothing other than trees. "My mind must be playing tricks on me" she thought. Then she noticed a tre branch carefully touch Aegis' face. She heard him murmur something to the tree. Aislinn arched an eyebrow but asked no questions. Yet. Continuing down the path after Aegis, a short ride took them near an impressive structure. While it wasn't very large, the entire temple was painted with exotic designs and gilded in some places. Riding her horse slightly ahead of Aegis and Airelot, she took a closer look. Aislinn didn't recognize the significance of any of the swirled designs. But they were beautiful to look at. As she got closer to the temple, Aislinn noticed the same creature from the woods sitting on the temple's front steps. Smiling at it, she dismounted from the horse, walking towards the stairs leading her horse.
