Blinking, Lillith hung out in the corner of the clearing they were at, watching Savage's skilllful, yet a bit barbaric attack on the elf. Shaking her wings of dirt and leaves that clung joyfully on them, she jumped when Balzar through his sword, whispering " really.. " SIghing, sher twiddles with a vine that snakked up to tugg at her robe. SMe smiled gently at it and told it to let to, patting the leaves all the while. It hummed at her until it dropped to the ground. She looked over at her left to view the girl that they newly discovered. SHe seemed young to be wandering around . THough, she looked almost a woman. sHe smiled at her and walkled over to her, kneeling down next to her.

" Hello Rosa, I am Lillith, Lillith Forbid" She brushed the girl off and helped her up " While those three, " She motioned towards Savage, Bayltisar and Balzar," Fight, shall we talk?" But as soon as she said it, Balzar looked over to the girl, but also looked to the other two, demanding why the two were out here. Lillith sighed and almost attemped to glare at the demon, but could not see herself to it. Ringing her hand through her silver hair, she went back to playing oddly with the vine who had once more been crawling up her leg, teaing her with the leaves. sHe smiled and let it crawl onto her hand. sHe curiously looked up to see if the others whould reply to Balzar.

A look of pure indignation spread across Bayltisar's face as he wiped the blood from his cheek with his emaciated hand. How dare you lay a finger upon the Lord Chamberlain, he thought, half breed wretch. Bayltisar glowered at the aptly named "Savage", as she issued verbal threats, a demonstrative gesture and proudly displayed a grizzly necklace. The sight of it made what colour there was in Bayltisar's skin drain slightly, a necklace made of elven scalps. His inherent xenophobia towards half-breeds flared once again as he gazed the abomination with its malign trinkets. Breaking the eye contact, Bayltisar picked up his staff from the forest floor and clutched it firmly, preparing a means to remove this abominable inconvenience form his sight. Suddenly he heard the sound of steel piercing wood and, upon looking up, noticed that a dagger was embedded in the tree, mere inches from Savage's head. Scanning for the source, Bayltisar’s eyes fell upon the now somewhat annoyed demon before him, who was now berating the half-breed.

Realising what he would have done if the demon had not hurled his dagger, Bayltisar relaxed the grip and chanted under his breath briefly to calm his mild annoyance, which, mingled with his embarrassment at allowing himself to become so annoyed, seemed, to a proud person such as himself, like a great wave of rage. Feeling the soothing presence of decorum, he regained his composure and offered those around him an apologetic smile, only with a hint of disdain. Following this he offered his thanks tot eh demon and returned to the side of Sylavanas, currently the only creature who seemed entirely trustworthy.

"So, what brings you three out here?"

The question had issued form the demon's mouth. Bayltisar raised an eyebrow.

"I, good sir, am an envoy the elf king,Teldrys. My initially purpose was to ride unto the encampments of our allies and offer to them much needed counsel. Along the road I passed this wood and there met my dear companion, a druid", Bayltisar politely indicated Sylavanas," In one's view a druid constitutes a valuable ally in our plight, thus I sought to find a means to leave the road and take counsel with him. Leading me form the road he brought me to this place and awoke the tree, from there I gather you are very much aware of what happened" Bayltisar said, his politely disdainful smile creeping across his face briefly.

Rosa glanced around nervously at the four around her as the angel glided up to her and helped her up. She looked up at the angel, and her breath was immediately taken away by the stunning Venus before her. What an alluring lady, she thought. It was no surprise, then, that she was no ordinary human being. The other three looked less welcoming though. The demon was scolding the savage-looking lady who was perched on a branch, reciprocating by hurling insults at him; and the elf and the druid were glaring at each other, the elf with a bit of a pompous air around him.

Rosa decided to answer the question asked by Belzar: "What brings you three here?" She turned to the angel called Lillth Forbid and replied hesitantly, "He-hello. My name is Rosa Yuki, and I am a simple peasant girl from the town Gongaro. I live in the outskirts with my parents in a hut, and I was sent by them to flee somewhere safe, so as to avoid getting killed. I came to this forest by chance, and have been living here ever since, to escape from soldiers." Nice and warm as Lillith seemed to be, Rosa did not want to reveal the real reason for her coming here...just yet.

Rosa shifted her gaze to the wild woman on the branch, flinging obscenities at the demon. What did the demon call her...Savage? she thought. How well put. Savage frightened her to the core. As for Belzar...well, he seemed like a patient being, but it would be wise not to anger him, unless you were someone like Savage- not caring about the ripple effect your actions caused. Rosa's eyes then fell on the druid and the elf. Aha! The druid...he must know some magic...perhaps, I can get him to mentor me...but what if he turns out to be Dark Druid in disguise? I will never pledge allegiance to the Dark Force, no matter what. No, oh no!

Rosa put a hand to her head. She was thinking too much. She slowly removed her hand from Lillith's and went over to a comfortable-looking grass patch under a tree. She sat down, closed her eyes and allowed the chirping of the birds and the squabbling noises fall over her, wondering when the four would stop bickering. She hated it when people were fighting, for she was a peace-lover by nature.

With Savage’s attack Mara and the wolves had burst from hiding to protect the druid and his companion, forcing Savage to flee to the safety of the tree. As the demon what was his name? Belzar remonstrated with the felis and the angel-Lilith, conferred with the new human girl who had appeared Sylavanas watched them all carefully. That so many new people should suddenly meet up at the same time after it had become obvious that some of them had lived in the forest never knowing of the others existence was a sure sign of some hand behind events. As a druid Sylavanas was inclined to believe that the spirit of Nature had been watching things very carefully for a long time now, but that would have to be thought more upon later. Pulling his mind back from its meanderings he noticed that Bayltisars wound was still running, he moved over and tilted the mage’s head to examine the wound ignoring the snort of indignation he received. Thankfully it did not seem contaminated, a fortunate turn as Savage did not seem to be one who was very preoccupied with cleaning her claws. With a word and gesture Sylavanas healed the wound and watched as the skin knitted back together leaving no trace of a wound.
Sylavanas nodded at Bayltisars murmured thanks and turned his back on the rest of the group walking apart a ways to confer with Mara and the treant which reawakened itself. Sylavanas thanked the wolf pack for their aid and they slunk back into the depths of the forest leaving Sylavanas with Mara and the treant. They turned to face the other people that were continuing their discussion, the human youth had also withdrawn from the debate and Savage occasionally cursed in Bayltisars direction. Sylavanas spoke to the ancient treant in its own language, which sounded like trees swaying in the wind. The occasional reference was made in his direction and Sylavanas noticed the human girl throwing glances at him, he ignored these occurrences, he had spent his life in the woods and he would be of little aid in the discussion and had little understanding of how other people operated. He simply sat down and leaned against the treant that leaned down to shelter him from the chill, thanking it Sylavanas closed his eyes as Mara came and lay down beside him and listened to the words of the wind.

Savage sat in the tree, an ill-natured scowl on her face as she examined her claws, chin cupped in her other hand. Stupid demon, stupid elf…How did that scum-eating mage know she was a half-breed anyway? She didn’t look it, and she took precautions to make sure she never showed her elven side around others. There were a few subtle signs, she supposed - like her short claws and small teeth - but no one ever noticed that. Damn that cursed elf! Now everyone else knew for sure too!

Prying Belzar’s dagger out of the tree trunk, Savage gazed at it, unimpressed. He was a demon, why didn’t he just kill with his claws? Shaking her head, Savage shrugged and leapt out of the tree and walked over to Rosa, pressing Belzar’s dagger into his hands as she passed him. Crossing her arms and looking down at the girl, Savage raised an eyebrow. Rosa’s eyes had grown bigger and bigger as she had come closer; it amused Savage to no end. Bending forward so their faces were at the same height, the felis gave her an appraising look. Rosa gazed back with wide eyes.

“Why are you really here?” Savage asked. Rosa looked surprised.

    “W-what?” she whispered, clearly uncomfortable.

“You reek of magic too strongly to be a simple peasant girl. Why are you here?”

Rosa looked up at Savage, not answering. Savage stared back with cat-like amber eyes.

“Savage, leave the girl alone!” Belzar called back, apparently annoyed at having to deal with her all the time. Savage straightened, looking back. Her tail swished once, and she retreated to the edge of the glade, where she leant against a tree, her arms crossed and her eyes downcast.

Rosa shook as Savage glared at her one last time before stalking away. She was thankful to the Heavens that the Demon's timely call had prevented a major, critical, drastic situation. Her heart was thumping against her rib cage wildly, threatening to come out. Her eyes wide as dishes, she replayed in her mind what had just happened.

How did the Savage girl find out that I am a magician? she thought. Rosa took one more look at the unkempt woman, quickly looking away when Savage's amber eyes focused on her.

Sorceress Allera had told Rosa never to reveal her identity as a sorceress to anyone, for the news might fall on unfriendly ears, therefore endangering Rosa's life. She had only wanted Rosa to come out into the open when she was strong enough to dismantle a kingdom's army by herself. The sorceress had thought that Rosa had great potential, and the vast amount of power in her should not be wasted by an early death. Rosa had clung on to these words dearly, and had sworn never to break the promise she had made.

Now, someone had found out her secret. What do I do now? Rosa panicked. I wouldn't have minded if the druid, the angel or even the demon had found out, but her? The necklace of elves' scalps hanging loosely from Savage's neck chilled her to the core. She wondered if Savage was harmful to other humans as well. The fact that Savage could sense magic in other people frightened her even more. What will she do? Rosa mused. Would she destroy me, if she sense my power growing stronger? Rosa was very uncomfortable to be close to Savage; being a weak sorceress, she could not sense other people's intentions yet. She wanted to run away as fast as she can; far, far away from the people there, and escape to a remote part of the forest, where she could spend the rest of her life.

Two roads suddenly opened up in her mind: which path would she choose? Should she run away from them and live a solitary life for the rest of her days, or should she stay with them and risk death, or possibly, if they were good beings, grow stronger with them and fight the armies eventually, therefore fulfilling Allera's wishes?

Allera's words then came floating back to her mind: There is no smooth road to success. The fruit of success is only sweetest when one has sowed the seeds of hard work.Rosa then realised that what Allera said made perfect sense; there was a risk in travelling with them, but it would be better to die carrying out Allera's wishes than to run away like a spineless coward, fearing death, which will come one day to claim her anyway.

Rosa's eyes fell on Lillith. Rosa felt like trusting her and the Demon. She knew, and hoped, that they would protect her from any harm Savage might cause.

Lillith watched everything like she always does, in the corner of the whole situation. sHe didnt mind it. She rather be to the side than in the middle, as the girl Rosa was at the moment. When Savage declared that the girl had a talent for magic, lillith grinned. Ahh, she knew it! The moment she set eyes on the child, she had a tiny hint of it. raising her hand a bit,, she observed the purple vine that was racing up her arm, tickling her shoulder with its beautiful purple leaves. She grinned at it too. It was liek a necklace, a very...er.eager necklace. She gently lifted the necklace off of her arm. It struggled a bit, but in the end, to save damage onto itself, it let go. Swooping over to the girl, Lillith smiled softly into her eyes.

taking the purple vine, she wrapped it around the girls neck. It looked like a loose necklace with tiny purple gem-leaves on it. It sang joyfully in the sun. While she was working on tieing it together, she whispered to the girl so none but her could hear.

"Dont worry about Savage, she may be what her name is, but she is true at heart." She finished with the vine and stood back to admire the work of it, beaming.

Belzar stood his ground, glaring at Savage to make his determination clear to her, when suddenly Bayltisar interrupted him. Softening his gaze quickly, but only slightly, the demonic blood leaving him with a permanently predatorial look, Belzar turned to Bayltisar and listened to his explanation. So, the other races were genuinely in trouble now. Clearly the Warrior was making his presence much more felt. However, despite all that, Belzar thought that this elven mage might prove quite useful indeed... almost as useful as his angelic companion. Thinking this, Belzar turned back to Lilith and looked at her. He had no problem with her personally, he didn't know what exactly had fuelled the battle between their two kinds, but it was still slightly unsettling to think of what she was capable.

Suddenly Belzar was interrupted, once more, by Savage now intimidating the human. His patience already stretched thin by this Felis warrior, Belzar snapped.
"Savage, leave the girl alone!" he snapped loudly, and watched as she turned and stalked over to a nearby tree. He shook his head and growled low under his breath. As acclompished a warrior as she was, he wasn't ready to take any difficulties, and if this behaviour continued he made a mental note to make this clear to her. He then turned to the human girl, the one who called herself Rosa. It was clear there was something else that set her apart from a normal peasant, and he made a further note to make sure she stayed safe while with him.

Turning then to walk towards Lilith, Belzar stopped dead and screamed in pain. The buzzing was back, and as the darkness moved across his vision, Belzar fell to his knees, hands clutching the sides of his head.
We can't go any further... It's too late! They're coming!... Stop this now! You can't go on!...
The voices floated through Belzar's head, voices from another time, another place, people he didn't recognise at all, but unceasing nonetheless, until the previous assaults and this one ganged up on him and caused him to pass out.

Bayltisar regarded the human with an apraisive eye, as one craftsmen might asses another. The girl's coutnneance and satnce suggested noble brith and a naive temprement. Bayltisar watched, intrigued, as the girl's face went white as the creature, Sabvage, suggested her sorcerous abilties. bayltisar had not in hsi eyars met anyoen whow as ashamed to be an alummni of the art, amongst the fey races it was a virtue to wield such power.

Deciding that the girl was beneath him fort eh tiem beign, until he divined her uses and her art, Bayltisar's attentiosn moved to the demon, Belzar as he snarled at Savage. No sooner ahd eh done this when he suddenly seemed over coem by soem malign ailment. Cryign loudly the demon froze and slowly sank to his kness before colapsign compeltley. Raisign an eyebrow Bayltisar ocne againt ook up psotion beside his comapnion.

"oh dear!" he exclaimed to Sylavanas.

Rosa stared in awe at Lillith as she wrapped the vine around her neck and tied it deftly before smiling at her and whispering, "Don't worry about Savage, she may be what her name is, but she is true at heart," in a soothing voice. As soon as Lillith had walked away, Rosa looked down at peered at the vine. It was beautiful; amethyst-coloured leaves hung from a lilac vine, basking in the sunlight. She wondered why Lillith had chosen to give this to her, and wondered what purpose it would serve.

She suddenly felt someone's eyes on her, and quickly looked up. Byaltisar, the elf, was staring at her, his eyes searching, examining. Rosa felt mildly uncomfortable as he smirked and nodded to himself. Did he sense my powers too? She thought. She looked around. Belzar, the demon, was looking at her too. I suppose everyone can sense my powers. They have not tried to kill me up to now, so I suppose it will be safe to stay where I am. I will be happy, expecially if Lillith and the druid are around. I feel they can help me.

Her eyes stayed on Belzar as he walked towards Lillith. He seems like a nice person too, she thought. Maybe I can go to him and Lillith for advice, whenever I am feeling down. She did feel a little uncomfortable at the fact that he was a demon though. She had grown up in a village, listening to tales spun by the yarns issuing from gleemens' lips, and had adopted the stereotype that demons were horrible, vile beings which chomped children up and spat out their bones. Rosa knew that the tales she had heard were merely exaggerations; but surely, demons came from somewhere evil?

She started as Belzar suddenly fell to the ground, gripping his head tightly and moaning. She stared, horrified, at the demon clutching his head, before getting to her feet and running towards him. Out of the corner of the eye, she saw Lillith with a shocked expression, Savage with a surprised look on her face, and Byaltisar and the druid observing. Before she could do anything else, Belzar had fainted.

"Oh, no!" she cried out, horror-struck. Had he died?

Sylavanas had paid no attention to events until he heard Belzar’s scream which brought him to his feet like a spring. Bayltisar stood next to the elven druid and remarked in shock “oh dear”. Sylavanas strode quickly towards the comatose devil, kneeling beside him. Giving Belzar a quick check to make sure his breathing was not hindered he glanced up at the nearby people who looked on with a mixture of curiosity and anxiousness. “I’ve never seen anything like this before,” Sylavanas told the assembled personages “It’s not a disease as far as I can tell” on the ground Belzar stirred prompting Sylavanas to check once again. Sylavanas examined Belzars pupils and muttered a brief devotion, his eyes glowed and a faint glow seeped along his arms into the fallen devil. “There,” Sylavanas remarked, “now if he had any pain it should be gone and he may awaken momentarily.” The devil stirred once more as Sylavanas regained his feet and turned to face the angel “What do you know of this? Tell me and perchance I can find some herbs to aid him”

Lillith was just as shocked as everyone else. Blinking several times, she hovered over ehr screaming companion, a concerned and worried expresson lingering on her face. Reaching down, she touched Balzars shoulder with oe of her fingers. Instantly she snapped it back as pain from him shot up her arm. He was concieous at the moment, but she could tell he wouldnt be. From that one shot of pain she heard a series of several voices. Is this his pain? she thought, horrorstruck. She hovered again, keeping her limbs to herself, until he passed out cold.

It pained her to see any being in this state, and her pain she had to put aside for the moment. Kneeling on the ground next to him, she held up a worried look at the druid. Balzar had stirred only a bit, but at least he was alive.

wHen the druid stood up and asked her what she knew of this, she didnt reply, she didnt need to for she threw him a look that told him exactly that she had nothing to do with this and knew nothing about this. Still kneeling next to the demon, She waited until he regained concieousness, or , if he still was under his spell of pain, she could call him out of it.

In his unconscious state, Belzar knew nothing that was happening around him, however suddenly he felt a warm sensation spreading through his limbs, and all other sense returned to him. As he slowly opened his eyes, he looked directly up into the face before him, and smiled, the appearance dazzling him and causing him joy. After a few seconds, however, he realised he was looking up into the face of Lilith, and stopped smiling, instead jumping straight to his feet. Brushing himself off, Belzar walked away from the group slightly, mentally scolding himself. He couldn't believe he'd smiled at an angel! Admittedly he had no problem with her, but it didn't mean he had to like here either!

After a few minutes, Belzar turned back to the group.
"I passed out, didn't I?" he asked, already knowing the answer. The pains were getting worse, but at least he knew after each blackout he had longer periods of relief and silence. "How long was I out?"

Rosa unfroze as soon as she heard the question issuing from Belzar's lips. "You weren't unconscious for very long, but you did frighten all of us there," she replied. Belzar regarded her for a moment before nodding and focusing his eyes on Lillith. As Rosa looked on, she noticed the look Belzar gave Lillith as he was getting up and dusting himself off. She giggled to herself as the notion of belzar and lillith getting together formed in her head. Sure, he was a demon and she was an angel but...what does it matter? True love knows no skin discrimination, she thought. Despite the colossal war raging at the moment, she was glad to know that there was at least some love in the world.

She put these thoughts at the back of her mind as she glanced at Byaltisa and Sylvanas, who were starting to look bored. She decided to get down to business as she started towards Belzar. Belzar turned as Lillith smiled warmly at her. "Yes?" he enquired in his usual gruff tone.

Rosa swallowed. He still did frighten her a bit. She then plucked up her courage and said, "I-what do we do now? Do we have anything else to do in this forest?"

Blinking a bit, Lillith's face showed no expression at Balzars smile. SHe was a bit shocked, but nothing else. It was a smile of someone just comming out of unconcieousness and she didnt tread to much on it. He probally didnt even realise that he was smiling at her. A demon smiling at an angel? How her tutors would laugh! She leaned back when he jumped up so she wouldnt get run into. Still kneeling on the ground, her wings held tightly to her back, Lillith hid a smile as the leaves and flowers shook with surprise, yet taunting, amusement at the demons actions. It sounded like the wind had picked up the leaves and petals and shook them furiously. None, probally, would know that that was laughter. Yet, she wouldnt be surprised if some did, for there was no wind about today.

Looking over her shoulder, Lillith silenced the laugh wth a guarded look at the plants. THey all died down at once to the gaze. THey knew not to displease the presence they had protected for a decade. Turning her back to them, she looked back to Balzar and rosa. THe girl explained how Balzar was out and for how much time. While she did, Lillith gently stroked a plant nearby her. She did this often, as a display of affection for the green things. tHey had always been her friends and would probally help her when needed. Even the heavens said that she had a knack for green things and pleasing them. An angel could only go so far with a guarded help of old trees and plants, yet lillith, as an angel, could call on them anyday and they would come to please. Lillith knew they were not slaves to be played with though, for if she went to far, they would tell her. Grinning at the seedling she was stroking, she looked up to Rosa.

THe girl, stumbling over her words, suggested that they leave the forest. Blinking a bit, Lillith looked around than answered first. " It woudl pain me to leave this forest who protected me for many years, yet if we need to help, I will leave it for now" Once again, her voice enchanted the wind and air about them, softly floating on it.

Belzar nodded his slowly, acknowledging Rosa when she answered his question. He then turned to her, and looked at her. It seemed like she had something further to say, and he was not one to waste time when there more important matters.
    "Yes?" he asked her.
He then listened as she explained what her thought was. When she had finished stammering it out, Belzar turned at Lilith's voice and watched her closely. 'Damn sentimentalist angels!' he thought to himself. There was no time to feel pained for a forest when the Warrior was still moving through Gaia. But he wasn't about to say anything and annoy Lilith now. She would still prove to be a valuable ally, so he would just have to tolerate her.

Belzar then turned to face the whole group, and out loud he spoke.
"Okay then, we're going to move on now. If you really wish to travel with us and give us aid in our journey, you're welcome to come along. Our first stop will be one of the nearby eleven encampments. I assume you know where I mean." he said, with a pointed look to Bayltisar. "Simple rules though; no arguing amongst yourselves, and no holding us up pointlessly. Follow these little travelling rules, and not only will we get places quicker, but we'll get along fine." he said, grinning in a way that revealed his pointed fangs to create a contrasting image. He then turned and walked out of the clearing, heading towards the nearest encampment of the Allied Forces.

Bayltisar felt a brief twinge of contempt at hearing the angel's answer. He had long held the angelic in high regard, respecting them fro their logical thought and wisdom; it pained him to see such sentimentality. He did agree though with the human child, they had lingered here far too long. It would only be a matter of time before the enemy's spies found them. Turning to face Belzar, he listened intently as the demon articulated the plan of a campaign. Hearing Belzar pay mention to elven encampment from whence he had recently came, Bayltisar returned the demon's knowing smile. With that the demon turned and began leaving the grove. Bayltisar followed the demon, eager to sound the depths of his understanding and knowledge.

"Do pardon, but I have two matters that I think need to be brought to your attention", said Bayltisar, at the demon's elbow," Firstly, there is no doubt in my mind that our foe will maintain a vigil over the roads leading to the encampment. I should not wish to meet any opposition to our movements until I have taken council with the king. Secondly, there is something that the king bid me show to our allies. As you seem to have the desire to achieve the same ends as we do, I feel that it might benefit you to see it"

Belzar listened to Bayltisar's explanation, nodding his head thoughtfully.
"You've got a good point." he said. "We really shouldn't risk walking out in the open just yet, it could bring down a whole heap of trouble on us. We can't risk that. At least not yet." he said, turning to the group at large. "We'll travel under cover until we reach a few encampments, alert the Allied Forces to what's going on."

Belzar then turned back to Bayltisar and looked at the transparent, three dimensional map Bayltisar had created, presumably using some sort of magic. He glanced down at it, and one glance was sufficient to show him exactly how far the Warrior's forces had already spread. It didn't look good. He then looked back up at the druid, Sylavanas.
"You. Druid!" he called out. "You know a safe path through this forest to take us near this encampment?" Belzar asked, pointing at a point on the map.

Sylavanas flinched at the impoliteness of the demon call. But took a glance at the indicated position on the map. "Yes I know that place, I can guide you, travelling quietly so as to avoid detection we could make it in about two days although we leave the forest after the first night" Sylavanas paused and looked again at the map before glancing at the assembled group "I shall inform the creatures of the wood of what is occuring an they shall watch over us, if Nature is willing."
With a motion of his hand the treant roused itself and Sylavanas bowed to it before it retreated back into the woods. Then Sylavanas gestured to the assembled personages to follow him and set off into the shade of the trees.

Lillith saw the look of the demon when she finished her answer. Keeping from rolling her eyes at the demon, she steadied an emotionless, yet firm, expression on her face. Reaching up to tug at the braid of her silver hair, she watched Balzar and the others talk about roads and places. Seeming to be intrested, yet showing no sign of it, she floated ( inches off the ground ) near them. Hovering wasent her speciallity, yet it proved useful at times. Blinking out the sight of the map, she studied it over thier shoulders. For a moment she followed them as they left, but then looked back over her shoulder. Savage had gone...where to? Rose was still there, wavering between indecision.

Forgeting about the map, she turned and floated over to the girl. Smiling warmly, she layed a hand on her head and grinned, " Comming?"
