    I constantly have to find new things to cheer me up when I'm feeling down. I fell into a routine to cheer me up when I was depressed. I used to rely on the same old things. But soon enough I started associating those things with bad feelings and they started to remind me of all the past times I felt shitty. There is always one constant that always gets rid of the bad thoughts, sleep. But its hard to sleep when your mind is filled with bad thoughts. So I need something to distract me from them.






    I think this is why I love beer so much.

    Alcohol is a depressent, that being said, one of my favorite quotes, "Alcohol may not solve my problems but f*** knows neither does coffee or tea".

    Beer distracts me. It makes my mind wander, which helps in moods like this.

    That's called avoidence, you're not facing the problem, meerly delaying it. Perhaps you need to talk to someone who understands what's going on with you and seek some advice from them?

    Thing is, I pretty much know what advice they're gonna give me and I don't like it.
