What is with those odd rocks that tell you the current time in the game in military time when you beat them? I can't figure it out! And the "hints" they give you when you are wearing the special mask are no good!

By the time you get the special mask, most of the hints aren't useful anymore. I haven't found any use for them either. But it's fun to just stand and hit them occasionally. Great stress reliever. :D

mmmm, and sticking a bomb near them and watching them do a little fireworks show for you. That is good too!

Yes, I've been known to do that often too! The sound effects you get when whacking it up are great too!

And I love the doing that with the rumble pack.

Does anyone else play with the rumble pack?

I used to, when I was borrowing the game from a friend. Now I own it for GameCube, and I use my Wavebird controller, so I don't get a rumble.

I used to, but it didn't serve a purpose. I mean, I never got the stupid "stone of agony" to tell me anything. I just had to memorize where all the hidden crap is.

I never noticed any use for the stone of agony either. But I love the way the controller shakes when you kill something. My controller for the Gamecube has the rumble built in. I love that. :D

the only thing i used the stone of agony for was to find a secret bomb-hole in the middle of kakariko village, with about 200 rupees in it, and that all.

I must say, the rumble pack does add a new dimension when you beat the game and Ganondorf's castle collapses. But really though, couldn't Link have just stood on the top where he was and ride it down? I have never understood it.

i doubt that, but when the castle did collapse the whole process seemed intentional, with all the pillars falling at an exact angle, like it was folding up.

Maybe, but I must admit, it does add some drama the first time you beat it when you have to race down all those thin ramps. I fell off because Moron, I mean Zelda pushed me off.

i never fell off, i havent even done it once, although the first time i did it i got so scared on the bit where the ramp goes down sharply and you jump down, i thought id fallen down a gap at first.

heh heh, that part was very scary. See, I was running a little faster than Zelda, so on the one ramp where it gets the skinniest out of all the ramps, I ran beside her to pass her and she turned abruptly and off I went. I lost all respect for her.

the worst thing was when those damn falling rocks hit you, they werent bad, they took off about a quarter of a heart and didnt even knock you down, but that damn zelda gasps and stands there for 5 seconds wasting precious time.

YES!!! I HATE THAT!!! And why didn't she shoot the golden magicky stuff at Ganon at the beginning of the battle? That would have saved us all a lot of trouble. And then what does she do at the end? Does Link get a kiss for his trouble? NO!! IN FACT, SHE STEALS HIS FREAKING OCARINA, ONLY TO GIVE IT BACK TO HIM IN THE SEQUEL!!!! AAAAAARRRRRG!!! STUPID WOMAN!!! WE ALL HATE YOU!!!!
