The Fool wasn't 'rejected'!!! Fitz'd never reject him! Nighteyes was sad though .
Close enough to Rejection
Wasn't it more the other way around?
Does it matter...Fool didn't get his beloved Fitz....I'm happy enough
And I'm not . Somehow I doubt that bothers you though.
No not really....that's why I loved her books....they gave me everything I wanted out of it
Why am I not suprised???
Should you be?
No, not really...not when it's you, anyway.
Back to why Robin Hobb is so awesome....did I mention she killed Burrich? w00t
I have a feeling you vaguely mentioned it, yes.
Lol, to change the topic, does anyone else adore Chade?
So you like the books just because it has the ending you wanted. Nice.
I love the books, despite the unreal ending. Lya, I love that quote, it says it all perfectly.
And Chade is awesome.
Chade was an alright character...he got on my nerves a few times with his borderline emo-osity.
I thought Nettle was pretty cool. For a while Dutiful was a bit on the douche side, but he came round...his encounters with his wife to be were humorous...like his midnight visit to her
I loved that scene, lol. I never hated Dutiful, but from then on I really liked him. I loved his reaction to Pettroe when he caught them .
Chade's pretty cool, but not among my very favourite characters. He really annoyed me with his foolhardiness in the Tawny Man; even though it was understandable, he really needed to stop messing with his health so much - I was terrified he was going to die!
I wasn't too bothered if he died....anyone who makes bad of Fitz gets my hate >_<
Ok, I understand he was ok towards Fitz...but I can hate very easily...not one of my more becoming skills lol
Dutiful handled that situation pretty well didn't he...I'm trying to remember what he said he was doing....
I don't think he said anything. Just looked possessive and made eye-contact . Then later, when Elliania had gone, he tried to get Peottre to convince Elliania to stop offering to sleep with him because he couldn't accept honourably...that was it, wasn't it?
I dunno....the scene was still pretty funny anyway, and it brought a smile to my face
Yeah, me too .
I find it interesting that some people loved the Liveship Trilogy and other people hated it.
I have been in both situations.
The first time I read Robin Hobb, I read the Farseer Trilogy then I read the Liveship Trilogy. I was so angry that Fitz wasn't in the Liveship Trilogy that I never liked it.
But now 4 years later I just reread all those books (and the Tawny Man Trilogy as well). This time I knew Fitz wasn't in the 2nd trilogy but I knew he was coming back in the 3rd. And it turns out that this time I like the Liveship Trilogy a lot better than the Farseer Trilogy.
I just finished reading Fool's Fate today for the first time. I found the ending extremely satisfying though I really hope Robin Hobb writes more books about that world, I miss it already!
