*Gideon, The Cutpurse......very good, easy read pertaining to time travel. Young adult
*Ranger's Apprentice The Ruins of Gorlan by John Flanagan.....very enjoyable, about a ward learning the mysterious Ranger's trade. Young Adult
*Ranger's Apprentice The Burning Bridge by John Flanagan....excellent sequel to the first.
*King's Peace by Jo Walton.....tough go to begin with but once into the read it does grab you.....Sulien Ap Gwien's account of medieval warfare.....very Welsh.
*King's Name by Jo Walton the sequel to King's Peace the better of the 2 reads.
*Shaman's Crossing by Robin Hobb....boring start an long drawn out on the childhood of the main character Nevare Burvelle. Still enjoyed the read.
*Forest Mage by Robin Hobb....the sequel to Shaman's Crossing....much better that the first an it really didnt grab me entirely till about 2/3 of the way through....the continuation of Nevare's acadamy training an life.

I also read the kids aloud The Spiderwick Chronicles.....excellent kids series....small reads with pen an ink imagery.
