Yeah, I know.
Agreed, but we still gotta poke fun at stuff when we can. Besides, JRRT didn't make the movie.
If I was trying to scare an enemy, I know putting wings on my helmet wouldn't be my first choice.
Well, my sister got chased my an angry goose when she was young. So if any of the Orcs had a bad experience as a child, it might work!
i seem to be the only one that thinks that the "headgear"
looks really good.
It is not functional but it isnt supposed to be that either.
As i have wrote before. it is a tradition for cermonial units to look stupid.
heh, you said both that you think it looks good, and that it looks stupid in the same post.
I still like the idea i posted at the old site.
The wings are actually a safety feature for horsemen...
Y'know, the horse goes down, rider falls, and BOOM, wings deploy just like an airbag....
That wasnt REALLY what i said was it?
i meant i think that THIS helm looks good.
BUT overall cermonial units usually looks stupid.
sorry but my gramar isnt top notch...
Neiter is your speling.. lol
dw Flundval. Finally someone else here shares my take on the Gondorian guards and their awesome *wings* ...I'm withya bro
are you just making fun of me or do
you need a spelling course yourself...
Yeh. Sry.. just making fun. No offence implied..
Oh My, the Helmet is . . .is . .ALIVE.
Look, I just wanted to tell you, It is, which I was told by my lord of the rings obssesd freinds family, that thay are actually called 'the guards of the fountain court' and their helmets are made of a presious substance called mithril which is only found in Kazad-dum(now known as moria).
I think that they are awesome! Who cares if they look funny, they are ceremonial, and I like anything tolkein! Also, I know that this is an old thread, but you can still add to it!
