10 like all of Martin's work

Though I'll point out that this will be biased, as you've posted in the section dedicated to discussing his work

Well I'm giving it 9.999999999999999999999/10 just to let Martin know that we want more and even better books that he can strive for perfection on ~ you've got to keep authors hungry you know, we don't want any old crap :D :D

As Roland has pointed out, we're just a little biased here :D.

I give it an 8-9. There is room for improvement.

I give it a nine but only because George Martin's indirect hints about future events drives me INSANE.....or is that a good point?

Well, it's a wonderful book. It's got an interesting mythology and a plot that will have you looking at half the characters with suspicion, and probably loving all of them. There are very few characters I don't like.

    @ Elladan: Nice. =P

@ Turin: Why only 8-9? Admittedly, I think his writing style improved between GoT and SoS, but still, GoT is a damn good book. :)
