To the powers that be....is there any way to make the text on this forum a little larger. It seems very small to me... Hantalë

Also, it looks like there is something wrong with my sig. Any suggestions?

Well, to make text in your posts bigger, put [ssize=2] (without the extra "s") before the text, and [/ssize] (again without the extra "s") after, so you get this!

For your sig, you need to put the font box in front, and close off all your modifications at the end, with , , and . Or I could edit it for you if you'd like.

As far as making the forum text larger I cannot. I am in 1280*960 resolution and it looks fine to me. If you are in something larger than that I would suggest decreasing your resolution a bit. As far as your sig goes check out the FAQ for more information on vbcode.

wierd res, jeff...

What res are you on Tasarwen?
And also try going through (on the top of the Iexplorer box) View>Text size> Pick a different font size.

Hantalë everyone...Your kindness is most noble!

As you can see, Gûd Daedheloth, I was able to fix my sig but I really appreciate you offering to do it for me.

Asgath, my res is 1024x768. Everybody's forum messages are so small that I have to put on reading glasses just to read the screen. This is the only forum that I find so hard to read and I hate to miss anything that is said. :)

Increase your font size in Internet Explorer. I am in a larger resolution than yourself and it is ok.

Thanks, Jeff...I did increase my font size through IE and it did not make any difference. I guess I will have to keep my glasses handy when I visit with y'all....

ok forgive me for saying this but if you increase the font size to medium or even large on 1024*768 resolution and it is still small you need to get your eyes checked out. Because on large font size it displays biiiig.

Ah ok then! I stand corrected and as do we as far as previous posts go. I will see how things look at a little larger type.

Greetings everyone...

LOL! You are right! I have gotten my eyes checked out and due to the length of time I have spent on this planet, my eyes are just plan tired (or old, I should say). :)

Yes, I am on a PC. I'm surprised that no one else has this problem, however it really is managable.

Tasarwen is right, guys. The writting is too small. Instead of making everyone change their own computer settings why not just fix it and save future members the trouble??

Because we cannot make it any larger than it is. Things get messed up when I enlarge it. Also the font size is verdana size 2. Which is equal to verdana size 10. If you are in a resolution above 1024*768 then the text would be small yet you would be used to things being smaller. In 1024*768 which I just checked it does not look all that bad. I am sorry to say it but the fact that only 2 people have said anything about it means I cannot change it. We have had this size since we started and noone else has complained and it does not cut down on the new members either.

yeah, its fine for me, if we change it, people will complain that its too big, so I advise you change your settings.

Yeah, it's small on my comp, but I like it that way. I can see it fine, and more stuff fits on the page.

Oh well, I guess I noticed it because I'm used to bigger font size...plus I've got bad eye sight, so It was a bit blurry...anyway, will just have to wear my glasses then:) Otherwise this forum looks pretty good:p
