Aaaaw, why are you ashamed of that! I think it looks awesome. You at least went all in
lol Anakin! Those were the days. And me always having to use my lip liner to make that scar for you I was worried you were going to like that look TOO much lol
Hey it's not my fault I'm running around with lipstick on my mouth these days. It's 'rubbed' off from you
haha i want such a dress too!!! unfortunately i never had the patience to learn to sew
Hahaha, who said anything about learning, i havent sewn since i was like 10 in school, and that was like. little stuffed animals that turned out like freaks. That dress is one big heap of failure turning good luck after doing wrong, making it over again, until it looks good xD Lots of cursing going on as well.
well i couldn't even make the patterns (is that the word in english??? it's called patronen in dutch but i don't know the english word..).
and i think the stuffed animals looking like freaks would be sooooo cute . How long did it take you to make the dress?
Yesss, pattern is the right word. And the dress is really super simple with the pattern, i did buy one though, 13th century dresses, from amazon. To have as a base, and then you sorta just do whatever you want. And make it after your own shape
the dress took about... a month and a half. But i finished sewing on the last couple of buttons just the night before we went out to the event! Were sewing long into the night. But normally it would take a lot more time. But i like stressing things.. Makes me more motivated.
actually Anakin... you kinda look like Anakin...
Others said that of the club. They called me the 'Belgian Anakin'... Don't know if that was meant as a compliment though lol.
Anyway I'll take your comment as one
I don't know if this counts, but I made this wizard costume for my older dragonling last year for halloween: (face changed to protect the innocent!)

My husband actually managed to mount two little christmas tree lights connected to a battery in the staff with a switch to turn it on. It was pretty cool after dark!
Nice Thats devoted parents. Bet it was nice with the light in the staff and all.
The lights were neat... only we should have glued some golf balls or something over the little lights to protect them. The poor kid smashed them when he accidentally banged the staff into something at the first house he went to and they didn't work so well after that. Live and learn!
Well then Emmy, you said you wanted a job? I might have to resort to a different kind of payment though...
As long as you pay, little lamb, we're good
Last time I wanted to give you money you said I didn't have to pay. heh heh
Well you might've done such a good job, payment wasn't needed
Well, if I did an even better job...
Well technically it should be me doing the job.. but you can work with me
I'll provide the moral support.
And just think, you would need to get measurements...
oh darn, the measurements! Lets get this started.. *brings out measuring tape*
