oh yeah, and your stuff is pretty decent Crusader. Nice highlighting, and I'm liking the purple. If I get time I might put some pic up, if thats cool. I have everything from Lord of the Rings to WH40k. Gotta love Space Marines.

Out of interest do any of you have a favourite model that GW have released?

The GW 'Eavy Metal guys do so many awesome jobs, it's hard to pick a favourite model.

I always have liked the Blood Angels special characters, like Corbulo- the guy holding the grail. And Mephiston is one bad boy!

That's because the Blood Angels are the best. I'm not too fond of Corbulo, but his model is impressive when well painted. Mephiston two can look very cool. Blood Angel standard bearers can also look very cool because the banners have awesome designs.

Yeah you're right the Blood Angel's are the best, they got the best back story too probably, maybe the Dark Angels.

What do you think of those newish Masters of the Chapter models?

I like the new Masters of the Chapter models. They look pretty cool. Nice looking equipment, all swapable. The Warhammer and Axe look pretty badass. The Large shield is a cool idea, but don't like the face design. They've got some good poses aswell.

Edit: I don't like the fact that they are all bald though lol

either click on post reply and then in the new winder scroll to the bottom and use "attachments" to add the photos from your computer. Or surf to a place like photobucket and upload your photos there and then like them to hear using the [IMG]

Oh I forgot to mention, later on last year my addiction hit citical levels, and given an offer of free models I succame to the horrible monotony of the hobby and got some space marines, and thus my second army began. (I got a few good deals and saved a much as I got 2 black reach sets worth of marines for about £20). Heres a few shots, there a bunch of new stuff but there they are.

And yes, those are blood ravens, an homage to the DoW games.

    some grunts

Dreadnaught, probably my fave as I'm proud of the basing, used some spare tau parts to make a mangled corspe ont he base, showing how he had an arm ripped off by the dred, goo dripping from the power fist to prove it.

Blood Angels don't have any lameness. You must be getting confused with the Ultramarines.

    Oh right, yeah.

but seriously, the only think in common is that the two are red and have blood in the title.

Fantasy doesnt really appeal to me, none of the armys really grab me, although War of the ring on the other hand does, and I have a slowly building force of uruk hai.

Your Tau look a tad better painted.

BR Dread looks better than the others. There seems to be a bit of paint "thickness" coagulating. Maybe thin out the paint layers?

IS this a 40k specific thread? Or can I post some Mordheim warbands as well?
