English not being my first language, I borrow freely from all accents!

A person of your caliber will surely speak some Swedish, right? It's basically Swedish Chef.
Saw your Vlog btw, what a wonderful garden and I'm amazed of you mastering different tongues.
Really cool man, great to see members in motion as well. Good times.

Thank you :) I know a word of Danish (Kylling = chicken) and I can say “hej” in Swedish ;)
I do have a love of scandinavian languages though, so it's a language I want to learn properly (more than hødy-gødy-gødy-dødy :D).

Been away for a while, here's a self portait I worked on yesterday. I tried smiling and the world didn't explode as the witchdoctors foretold.
Hope you all are doing well.

Nice to see you back, my friend, and that is a terrific self portrait! Full of character and your technique is fantastic! :)

What a great painting Per! Your style is simply awesome :)

(you do look slightly older in it though)

I hope it's not a Dorian Grey -type painting ;)

    Thank you guys!
Hope you all are doing well.
Haha, I hope not, Druid. That would be horrible!

    Hey again,

here I tweaked my own portrait to fit a character in a fictional story a friend is writing on. He's supposed to be a 18th century dragoon of sorts.
    Haha, good fun!

Not sure if I showed these two sketches either. They are not so new.
First one is mr. Twirp. The other gentleman is Mr. Freodor. Why the names? I don't know. :)

I like the names. And Mr. Freodor has a cool haircut :)
You're good with expressions. I always found conveying personality pretty difficult.

Was "Twirp" intentional? If so, very punny! :D

Thank you, Heaven's Cloud. I think it's hard to do expressions. I haven't done them enough on my characters, I suppose.
Have you seen Coconut-CocaColas art thread? There's alot of great characters there. I think all characters have got some personality, I just wish they weren't made with my personality all the time! ;)
Maybe I'm wrong there, but as you mentioned it's pretty hard with expressions sometimes and that can make one fall back to what we know, at least I'm like that.

    Haha, yes it was. :)

I do believe that we have seen those before, or maybe I have just come to recognise and love your style :) I find the way in which you seem to capture such human expressions and features in what looks like so few lines so amazing :D

Hey Coconut-CocaCola! Thank you so much!
I've been drooling over your thread here as well, really great stuff!
No, I don't draw comics. I guess I do a little of what comes my way, I guess. :)
I will do some comic work the coming weeks but with a different style. I'm trying something "new", at least for me.
How about you? I'm asking before I've checked out any websites you might have etc, so I'm sorry if asking the obvious!
    Have a good one!

Yeah, I think they're on my website too. Thank you for the kind words, Druid. I enjoy reading these comments! Haha!
Really though, I appreciate the feedback and you guys have always been giving good feedback, constructive or an approval.
How's everything getting along for you?
