I would have loved to see Eomer become King as well and the Eowyn and Faramir thing start up. Christopher Lee should have been in it somehow.

I've just come back from seeing it and it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! the standards of acting were just the best of the century, sean astin deserves an oscar for his performance, it was more than I expected and for once I am speechless.

I saw it yesterday and when it was over I was just in a stupor of awe... I couldn't think of a single thing I didn't like about the movie(cuz I know it's almost all gonna be in EE, and that's what really counts).

    *spoiler*

After that first fade out on Mt. Doom, I seriously thought for a second they might end it there. And when it faded back in, after what seemed like an eternity, I was like, "That's so not even funny"..... PJ with his cruel trickses...why does it hates us, what have we ever done to it? *clears throat* Ummm.. sorry 'bout that, yeah awesome movie!

Maybe it was just me, but Old Bilbo kind of came off like Yoda to me.

I heard off an interview that the EE is gonna be about 5 hours long. It wasnt short it's just they had to fit the most stuff into one film.

It was just the best ever, when gandalf rode over the hill and we see Minas Tirith!!! i got such a buzz. The same happened when the white rider went out, or when the beakons trailed along the mountains and when the orcs rolled grond in. And the witchking etc.

Incredible what a wild trip! What a wild three years. Wow, has is actually been three year
since we started this journey. The movie was visually stunning. I was drained and actually
tired when I left the theatre. I can't wait to see it again.

Me too. I couldn't concentrate on anything afterwards for many many hours. I had to sit in my seat at the theater to recover for a few minutes before we left.

Simply the best!!!!!, but I think it was too short - can't wait for the Xtended version.
I really struggled to keep back the tears in the end.
Going to see it again on tuesday - CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Yeah I thought the leaving of the Grey Havens was really emotional...some great acting and the havens looked beautifal..can't wait for the extended cause I felt it was short as well
