I could make that I reckon. just chopped up polystyrene. Would take a considerable amount of time tho.

I have this book i bought years ago it's called "how to make wargames terrain" it's really good.

Something like that would be awesome for games like Warhammer quest and hero quest :p

I was never a big fan of Talisman; at least with HQ you could change the layout and make up your own quests, whereas Tal was basically quite linear. It wasn't bad, though, just not my cup of tea.

I'm building my own dungeon based on HQ, so it'll end up looking something like this, though obviously not as good:):

Talisman was great because anyone could enjoy playing it. I still play it with 8 or so mates (who don't usually play these types of games) when we have piss ups. our gf's play it too. they love it. Very simple and linear yes but a lot of fun.

that's a nice looking dungeon. but are the walls fixed or can they be moved?

There isn't a game in the world that can't be improved by adding booze into the mix.:D

And the walls are moveable in that dungeon. Mine won't be, though because I'm building it in small modular chunks it should still be flexible enough for any layout. The corridors are being assembled in three-inch pieces so I can stick them together to form various lengths, and the rooms are smallish, about 6" by 6", though I can leave of a couple off walls to combine them into something bigger.

sounds good. as long as you get some variety you'll be set.
Get a camera so you can show it off.

Here's a slightly less fuzzy picture. I just have to fill in the gap in the corner and paint up a resin torch and window. Only a hundred other pieces to do and it'll all be ready to use.:)

I've already ordered some scenery from Grendel to liven up the rooms. Here's the tavern:
