    Friday Five:

    1. What is the last item you purchases? How did you pay for it?
    Wine. Cash.

    2. What is on top of your refrigerator right now?
Bread and a wire basket with miscellaneous bills, important papers and whatnot in it.

    3. What is under your bed? (go look...I'll wait)
Nothing. I never put anything under my bed. It really is a good space-saving storage place, but it is such a PITA to get it organized that way so I opt for empty space.

    4. How often do you check your email?
    3-10/week

    5. What is the longest distance that you have run(at one time, without stopping)?
    10k/6.2 miles

BONUS: If you were offered the choice to know when you were going to die, would you want to know?[/QUOTE]
I always used to think that there was no way that I would want to know, but as I get older(shut up, Jake!) I am leaning more toward thinking that I would want to know. Now, maybe not the exact time and whatnot, but I think it would be practically useful to know ahead of time. There are a lot of things I would do differently if I knew that I was going to die in 6 months. However, since the odds are that I won't, I live life as if I plan on living a long time. The whole concept of delayed gratification would leave my lexicon surely.

    Friday Five:

    1. What is the last item you purchases? How did you pay for it?
Big cup of soda at Costco. Paid cash, a dollar that I took from my husband.

    2. What is on top of your refrigerator right now?
A couple receipts, some decorations and a lot of dust.

    3. What is under your bed? (go look...I'll wait)
A couple pairs of slippers, my big tub of books that don't fit on my bookshelf, a lone sock that slipped under there (I left it there of course) and dog hair, lots of dog hair.

    4. How often do you check your email?
Depends. The email that's connected to my Blackberry gets checked when my phone beeps me. Couple times a week, I only use that one to talk to my husband at work. Personal email gets checked once or twice a week, so does my junk email.

    5. What is the longest distance that you have run(at one time, without stopping)?
1 mile? No clue, I only ran in gym class and I suck at running, I'd usually end up walking. Most likely not far at all.

BONUS: If you were offered the choice to know when you were going to die, would you want to know?
Nope, it'd freak me out and most likely make me paranoid and neurotic.

    No jokes from me.
You and I have both known people who never had the luxury of getting older.
Keeping that in mind, I would like to know.
It would give you a deadline. You'd know when to have all those things you swear you're gonna do one day done.

When I die, I would actually like to be finished. ;)

    1. What is the last item you purchases? How did you pay for it?
In the non-food department, that was a cycling helmet and an outer tube... Paid for it by debet card.

    2. What is on top of your refrigerator right now?
It currently houses a microwave oven and, on top of that, a coffee machine (very important!)

    3. What is under your bed? (go look...I'll wait)
My computer and laptop are under my bed.

    4. How often do you check your email?
    Once or twice a day

    5. What is the longest distance that you have run(at one time, without stopping)?
Some 10 kilometers, I think. It was a relay race, much fun that....

BONUS: If you were offered the choice to know when you were going to die, would you want to know?
Yes. Death, apparently, doesn't move me too much; and although I think this knowledge will change my life, I don't fear death enough to fear that knowledge.

Let's see if I can restrain my honesty and not kill it again ;)
    Friday Five:

    1. What is the last item you purchases? How did you pay for it?

    2 litres of Coca-Cola, cash.
    2. What is on top of your refrigerator right now?
    A big stock pot
    3. What is under your bed? (go look...I'll wait)
    Dust and feathers
    4. How often do you check your email?
However often I log in here, basically whenever I'm on-line. Every few days, sometimes every day.
    5. What is the longest distance that you have run(at one time, without stopping)?
I'm not a runner, probably a kilometre tops. I have swum 10k though...
BONUS: If you were offered the choice to know when you were going to die, would you want to know?
If it was an approximate answer like, 'In your 80s', I'd probably say yes. I wouldn't like to be counting down to an exact date and time. Plus you'd be a lot less stressed, unless the answer was , 'Next Tuesday'. Even then you'd rather know 'cos at least you'd be able to sort out Life Insurance and wills etc.

Late as usual for the Friday Five ^_^ I don't think I've ever made one on a Friday before :( Oh wellz.

*waves* Hello everyone! Hope you're all well! :draught:

For the longest time (hey, it was actually within half a year since I last logged in here, hehe) I thought 'ok, I'll log in at TFF next time I'm online' but noooo...and it just dragged on and on. Until I started freaking about about the amount of new posts and people coming and going...and I pretty much scared myself away from this place *lol* (Yes I suck)

Doesn't help when I get back and find I have two private messages from several months ago either *hides from Adz* But anyway...

Long time no see! And probably will be again, sadly. *showers everyone with cheap presents, drinks, random interesting picstures from various places and appropriately pureed nutrient-boosted food* :D

Don't worry Winter, I do the exact same thing. Every now and then I come back for a few days and find I have very little to contribute so I just stop logging in again.
As for the PM's, no stress :)

I usually don't have much to contribute either. But that doesn't stop me from posting the random things I think of. :p
