I still like Ocarina better, though WW is a very close second for me.
I've only started to play Wind Waker. (lack of spare time)
But I think The Ocarina of Time is the best Zelda Game.
ocarina!!!!!!! DEfinately one of the best! I dont really like the wind waker
well having not played on Wind Waker, I cant vote, but I like Orcarina quite alot. It has nice gfx which is a bonus, a goodish world etc...But...I dunno its not the greatest game in the world
Windwaker. I'v heard the world is enourmous, and thier are loads to do, like sailing and stuff, cant really say a great deal. Other than the Cell shading sucks
My favorite is still the Super Nintendo one, Link to the Past. It was the most fun out of all of them, screw graphics and such.
Still haven't played Windwaker. Don't have a Cube.
i think the question is a bit obvious, ocarina is definately the best zelda game to date.
ok well WW's characters had no personallity, the graphics are kind of annoying, the game is much easier and it definetely does not compare to oot.
OOT has much better graphics, gameplay., replay value, and the characters make more sense (I guess)
I must say, I was really unimpressed with WW. They should have made it in awesome graphics, not some cel-shaded CRAP!! I mean some games are awesome in cel-shading, but not a Zelda title! Well, I guess this means Legend of Celda (oops, sorry, Zelda) forever!!
Wind Waker. The graphical style was impressive and the storyline was engaging. Using the wind waker took too long though as far as the animation.
I just prefered Ocarina of time. The gameplay and graphics were very realistic and I liked that. Wind Wakers abstract graphics were good but they just didn't suit me and hurt my eyes a lot becaus eof the brightness.
the cartoon graphics made it look more like a fairly tale and less like a legend.
I've played a little of WW but I didn't like the graphics. They were just annoying.
I remember a few years ago when Nintendo was demoing the abilities of the Gamecube they had a Zelda demo. It absolutely rocked! It had Link and Ganon fighting close quarters. Ganon kicks Link's shield while he tries to block and sends him reeling back. Link then throws aside his shield and grabs the Master Sword with both hands and does a fearsome leap towards Ganon.
The graphics of the demo were outstanding. They compared with Final Fantasy X and were actually better in my opinion. It just made my mouth water wanting more. When Nintendo revealed WW there was a big outcry about not sticking with the demo graphics and instead going to the cartoonish look. one of the higher ups in Nintendo said that this was the kind of Zelda game he always wanted to make.
While I'm sure gameplay is great if I had played more of it, the new look just killed it for me and for many other fans. Unfortunately this isn't the game that most people wanted. Hopefully Nintendo can turn things around a make another Zelda that is more in line with the Ocarina of Time. It looks like Nintendo is going the way of Sega if they can't come up with something to compete with the big two.
I would have to say that I favor OOT over WW. I enjoy playing an adult link more than the child link. Even though it has 64 graphics they still hold with current graphics.
Clearly Ocarina is the better game bacause links head is not the size of his freak'n body.
I like WW best because it has cel-shaded look and it`s more fun to play!!
A big, resounding Ocarina of Time. That was the most satisfying game I ever played on the 64. No other game came close to the sheer scale and awesome gameplay (at the time). It is THE masterpiece of the Nintendo 64, I would say.
Note the landslide vote in favour of OoT, there really is no contest
Although picking a favourite Zelda game is like picking your favourite child...... I'll have to go with Ocarina........ it gets better grades and is on the football team. It's little brother only has decent grades, and is in the AV club.
Even though I adore both games--- Ocarina of Time was the very first Zelda game I played
Same here, thats probably why I liked it so much.
