Half-assed socialized healthcare, I'd rather pay the higher taxes, at my pay rate the government isn't likely to jack up my taxes 10% more of my pay a month like the insurance company will. Actual healthcare I support, everyone who works shouldn't have to worry about being in debt for the rest of their life when in an emergency situation. If you don't think I'm doing anything and everything I can think of to get ahead you'd be mistaken, I don't want to be in this position in any way, but here I am anyway. Not to say I haven't heard the logic of the women I worked with who did seem to equate kids with more government assistance, but that wasn't what I was referring to. It would be telling ME to sleep around. My comment applies to my situation in specific, because I have neither a gf nor am married and thus the only way I could possibly have a child is if I were sleeping around. The fun part is how much extra it is would more than enough.
