I know what to think. There are at least 10 characters that'd be more fun and successful to imitate than Naruto. I mean, what did he think would happen?

Ok Joking aside (because this is definitely not a joking matter), I have a feeling there will be major repercussions from this incident.
No more Naruto on American TV perhaps? Airing times changed? I wonder.

Its sorry to say but there have always been kids like this - who get reality and fiction mixed up. Who remembers the superman imitators who thought they could fly? or those kids who think they are daredevils?

I don't know if it will have any effect onthe viewing of these shows though == superman and daredevils are still shown and are just as popular as they were. Though an event like this might cause uproar in certain pressure groups (can I go as far as to call some extremists) unless this is part of a large pattern of incidents I can't see any major changes

This is why Naruto should have been left to public viewing only in Japan (they're used to anime) and for the rest of the world left for us to download from fansubs.

    Damn you CN.

Tbrh though, I really can't see how kids come to do such acts, I mean surely their parents remind them that it's all fake.

Even without reminding, who the heck would bury themselves in sand and not expect to be a little short on air. And the friends? Surely they couldn't have ALL been that stupid!

Their = they're but not at the same time, because they're different and mean different things. It's not their fault that they're not really with it.

I suppose this next bit of info comes as news.

As you've all probably seen me ranting and raving about "go read GTO". Well finally One Manga has uploaded the first 200 chapters of the manga on their website. So, go go start reading!

Warning, the reading method differs occasionally from left to right and right to left so be careful.

P.S. Turning the thread into a general "news" section.

Cool, you sent me some GTO files awhile back and there were 25 volumes which is up to Chp 200, so now I'll be able to continue on with One Manga. I'm following five or six other mangas on One Manga already so I'll have to add GTO.....thanks for the info, I wouldn't have realized it otherwise lol.

According to the site, there's only 200 chapters (completed)....which seems to be a lie lol.

Hopefully that's just a mistypeor I've totally miscounted the number of chapters lol

I don't know if this really counts as "news" but was anyone else aware that they would be continuing the Inuyasha Anime? It was an update episode on one of the website sites I watch anime on....it's called Inuyasha Kanketsu-hen (aka: The Final Act). Well just letting anyone that might be interested know.
