you haven't seen anything yet
I need to get sleep but now I'm bursting with excitement, wondering all the fun conflicts that could pop up...
The first big one is pretty fast approaching, and it'll establish a pretty good picture of how crazy things can get in New Secca
Dang. Not the best post I've ever done, but I was eager to get one up.
I'm having some writer's block atm, hopefully I'll have something up later tonight or tomorrow
sorry today was absolutely horrible.
I can't concentrate on anything.
I'll try hard to get things going with my character tomorrow.
i might start getting something up if I can think of a way to start contacting another PC... is cheshire and sypher coming down to the factory level, or is wrench going to have to go upstairs? cuz she's kinda manic about staying with her toys unless dragged away, and the other four follow her orders. I suppose if C and S were snooping around where they weren't supposed to i could have Slice and Dice drag them downstairs.
Actually, I could have Wrench arguing with her boss about the whole war thing as the two are walking in
Well... Sypher is a freaking idiot so it very likely he could just bumble and stumble his way down into their level while Cheshire is doing business. After such business, she could go after him and arrive...
IR wanted me to tell you all that he won't be able to post until Friday.
General information thing not big enough to post in the world info thread:
magus' characters Slice and Dice have the ability to teleport which is extremely rare and hard for a lot of characters to deal with. However most higher level sappers have encountered people who could do this before since it's a talent that lends itself to their work. While not all sappers are necessarily GOOD at dealing with teleporters Midnight definitely is.
Smiling Tom is capable of fighting teleporters but it's still not easy for him.
And Yuan will tell us how good Ghost is at dealing with them, same with everyone else using Sapper characters, but understand that only Midnight is ever at an advantage against porters for reasons that will be explained later
Ghost is an information master, tends to shy from confrontation, would rather slip a bug on you, trace you home and break in and steal all your personal files.
so yeah, as it stands Midnight is looking to be the only person who can really easily deal with porters.
im having my team do exactly what they'd do in-character. wrench is half-insane and sociopathic, so will go off the hook at any insult. calling the team "midgets" qualifies.
Slice and Dice are assassins and bodyguards who essentially worship first Wrench, then killing, so they'd do whatever she said. Oh, and they're not dwarves, they're elves. Tall elves. Dark elves. Dangerous dark elves.
Whiz is a blubbering crybaby, so take or leave his advice. he'll probably give the same advice if it was a two-year-old threatening you instead of a knife-weilding maniacal technomancer dwarf.
If you want reason, i'd stick with Rift. At least he's trying to get Wrench to see reason. He's standing between your people and his own, anyways, and is trying his best to help others.
>_>...Idk how I'm supposed to exactly respond if CnS is outside
Slice and Dice are assassins, not dumb grunts. They see through walls, hear whispers, read lips. Yeah, you're outside. Now we are. Standing in front of you. With knives at your throats. Doesn't matter whether you're in a vehicle or not, the Twins can teleport right in with you, with whoever they want to teleport with them. The whole gang's here, yessir, and they ain't in a good mood.
Lol...ok <.< Not the greatest idea or anything...but ok...
hope you didn't realize the dark elves already pre-teleported a cloud of magical, invisible assassin's nanobots to track you.
oh, and what was that about humans having oh, about seventy, eighty years experience max at fighting? and elves having a couple centuries of it?
Pretty sure my car just got godmodded xD
