do u think that it is as strong as they make it out 2 be.
First off it spelled mIthril, and its not real. Tolkien made it up.
I wouldnt say it was strong, but since it is tightly woven, it would be hard for something to get through
It was stong , "Stronger than dragon scale" just like bilbo said.
Yeah, so for anyone who knows how tough being "as hard as dragon scales" means in Tolkien's universe, let us know!
Properly made rivetted chainmail of that tiny diameter, made of a super metal like mithril, would be one tough mother to get through. Chances are you'd succumb to blunt force trauma before it gave way!
It would suck if you saved for most of your adult life to be able to afford a mithril shirt and then you end up getting shot in the head with a goblin arrow.
Or worse, slipping in the shower and breaking your neck.
