It would also work as an ex libris card (bookplate).

I have some ex libris artwork by other artists hanging on my walls... there's quite a tradition behind bookplates. You have these wealthy types with small libraries and book collections commissioning an artist to do a personal bookplate for them to stick on the inside cover of their books... and you would be really surprised at some of the artwork. Nudes, sex scenes, lots of death symbolism, mermaids, etc...

Thank you, I'll try to continue doing messy sketch so that I'll learn how to get some more feeling in the drawings and paintings.

    Thank you guys! :D

I'm going to start doing sketches of the monsters from the show supernatural. Just sketches and no eraser.

Here's the start of a woman in white.

    Excellent line work!

When you're drawing a person do you begin with any part of the body in particular?
I almost always go with the face then the rest of the head. If I like it then I'll rough in the torso, arms, legs, etc. It goes against how I was taught to draw but I find if I'm not happy with the face than the rest of it doesn't matter.

Wow; creepy young(ish looking) women is the style I love and this is amazing!

It's lines like that that I aspire to.

I start with a circle for the head and one circle for the shoulder, then I just work my way from there. :p I've been told that it is the wrong way to draw, but I think it is easiest that way.

    Thanks to everyone again! :)

I don't know how you can work a drawing so well without an eraser. Given what you posted, you must have nailed the curvature of the hair right on the first time. That's pretty darn amazing :)

I didn't have time right now to look through every page, but I must say that I LOVE that wall painting on the first page!! Pretty cool!

I had a quick stroll through every page. I do have a lot of time on my hands lol. Looks great, really. The drawings of the horses are really elegant with the wavy smooth lines. I like that. On the other hand the rougher sketches are interesting as concepts as well and bring out more of your imagination. Just makes me wonder what else you have in store for us:)
