Very cute, and well done... in a gothic undead sort of way.
Aw, man I was going for creepy. But thanks. Abbadon is a Demon who gets shot in the head, then decapitated, only for her to have it sewn back on.
That looks cool, you should definitely find some fake blood. Also try and buy some liquid latex. It's great for making wounds. I know you can buy a lot of this stuff online.
That's what I did when I made this zombie makeup last year.
It's especially good to put drops of blood on an let them run down leaving a trail.
Also you can usually find "coagulated blood" which is really cool. It's thick and sticky and doesn't really dry.
Gosh, you guys look so cool with undead makeup on. I wanna try it now!
I love your eyes in that one Storm; they're made really big.
Cool picture Crouton.
I used to have a tube of really good fake blood. The best thing was that when it was empty, the small dry bits left made really good scar-like lines.
I'm hoping to get more into this stuff and try make some more realistic wounds etc. I've been looking at a few tutorials online. Only problem is it's so expensive to order a lot of this stuff if you want to do it properly.
I found a book in my primary school that had loads of ways to do wounds with simple home stuff. I think there was some way to do it with flower, but I can't remember how.
Picked up a pencil for the first time since February today. Darn I'm rusty. Hopefully I will have something to share with you guys later.
Sometimes being rusty is a good thing... you sort of don't expect much so you can loosen up a bit.
Oh... and if you turn out another excellent piece like last time then turn around and "clean it up"... I'll come to Sweden and thump you one.
Maybe. I'll try not to keep things nice and tidy.
I look forward to seeing more of your artistic efforts, Stormy! Excited now!
Okay, so here's a quick sketch thing. I'm sorry Sparrow, I reverted back into my tidy and neat horse stuff. I've actually haven't even cleaned this one up. I drew it like this from the start.
I'll post some of the other stuff later when I get home.
Guess what... I like it anyways!
It's very stylistic and though it's "tidy" it has good life to it.
I still hope you do another drawing similar or in the same spirit as that other one in February... I assumed the girl in that sketch from months ago to be a depiction of yourself?.. which is why I liked it the way it was. Messy, unfinished, and full of movement and emotion.
Can't wait to see the rest of the stuff you've been working on!
I really like that one! Nice lines and clearly a horse, but with a strong artistic fantasy touch.
I've just been looking through your earlier drawings and I am impressed.
I stick strongly with Sparrow now: that girl with the monster is an amazing drawing; I would absolutely love to see more of/like that. Pretty pleeeeeaaaaase!
Thank you, it's nowhere near done. I'll see how it turns out in the end, if I actually will finish it.
Yeah, It was. Me and the monsters in my brain.
Thank you Druid!
I'll try to get some of that out of me again.
I don't know why, but this sketch reminds me a little of that animated movie "the Last Unicorn".
I loved that movie! Now I feel the urge to watch it again.
Here we go, a small part of a sketch. I banned myself from using an eraser. Messy and smudgy. But you guys said you wanted to see stuff like that.
That's awesome Storm!
You have great line work... look at it, it feels and looks like you were passionate about the drawing. And just as you were going to start messing around and cleaning the sketch up, someone snatched it away from you. Good work Storm!
Wow. It's like a caricature of a wood carving or something. It's really awesome.
You know how some books have a picture on the page before chapter one (not sure what's it called in English)? It would totally make do for that, too.
