Hey everyone. Has anyone bought Strider's jacket from Museum Replicas? I'm considering getting it.
I havent seen it actually...whats it like and all?
It's a leather coat that looks a lot like Strider's. It's the least expensive leather Strider coat I've seen on the net and also the nicest looking.
I meant as in pictures and what not ;-)
I would post a picture of it but they don't have it up on their website yet. I will probably post pictures when I get it. But it looks a great deal like Strider's coat except for maybe being a bit more green.
sounds pretty neato
http://www.weaponmasters.com/?ID=WEAPONS&ITEM=MOVIE_CLOTHING_LORD_OF_THE_RINGS try this website the coat is on the next page
Hmm, I'm going to have to bring that up with the museum replicas folks. They said they don't have the license to sell those things wholesale so we can't sell them.
The ranger surcoat looks weird but his kingly one looks sweet
I have it. It's pretty nice. Pretty accurate as well. Split sides, fully whip stitched, sword arm padding. I need to weather it a bit.
I can post pics if anyone wants to see em.
I am very interested in seeing those pictures.
Here's one of me wearing it in full costume. It's kind of moody and dark. I'll have to take some new ones in better lighting soon.
Sweet costume mate. Can you tell us how much you bought and how much you made yourself? What materials you used if you made parts, and any hints and tips for others trying to do the same thing? How about you take some more photos of each individual piece and make a thread here called "My Aragorn Costume" or something like that?
sure, i'll get on that as soon as I get home from work and can upload some photos. i love talking about the costume, it's my new big time waster!
Is it a replica of Anduril or of Narsil that you are holding on the pic?
(Iknow... stupid question...)
UC's Anduril. you can kind of see the runes up near the top of the blade.
