Hey everyone. Has anyone bought Strider's jacket from Museum Replicas? I'm considering getting it.

It's a leather coat that looks a lot like Strider's. It's the least expensive leather Strider coat I've seen on the net and also the nicest looking.

I would post a picture of it but they don't have it up on their website yet. I will probably post pictures when I get it. But it looks a great deal like Strider's coat except for maybe being a bit more green.

Hmm, I'm going to have to bring that up with the museum replicas folks. They said they don't have the license to sell those things wholesale so we can't sell them.

I have it. It's pretty nice. Pretty accurate as well. Split sides, fully whip stitched, sword arm padding. I need to weather it a bit.

I can post pics if anyone wants to see em.

Here's one of me wearing it in full costume. It's kind of moody and dark. I'll have to take some new ones in better lighting soon.

Sweet costume mate. Can you tell us how much you bought and how much you made yourself? What materials you used if you made parts, and any hints and tips for others trying to do the same thing? How about you take some more photos of each individual piece and make a thread here called "My Aragorn Costume" or something like that?

Is it a replica of Anduril or of Narsil that you are holding on the pic?

    (Iknow... stupid question...)
