This can be from any book, as long as it's a Middle-Earth book.
If "X" book became a movie, what role(s) do you think would be best suited to you, and why?
    Or:
What role(s) would you like to play, and why?
By the way, if you're a male wanting to play a female character, or vice versa, that doesn't matter.
Be sure to specify which is which!
For me, I think that I'd like to either be Varda, Galadriel, Luthien, or Haleth. Haleth was a woman warrior of the Haladin. All four are from the Silmarillion and a lot of other books, but I don't have the patience to look them up right now.
As for best suited... porbably Galadriel.

Umm... Silmarillion, I'd probably be Ecthelion, Mandos, or Finwe. These are all calculated, held back guys, but can be very punishing and brave when forced. I'd like to say I'm Fingolfin, but I know I am not. I don't fight fights out of desperation, and besides, I can't carry that "badboy" aura like I know Fingolfin can. :p

I'd have to say Haleth of the Haladin (Silmarillion). I enjoyed her character as being a very strong warrior and very smart!

I would go with something other than my actual name here! ( though he did initially save Frodo and the ring from the ringwraith, a somewhat timely intervention, a fitting reason for a choice )

Me i'd have to be Feanor

My reason's being i admire the tenacity, and drive of the guy, even though it led to his downfall and he slew his own kin on the way ( a henious act in any book ). He had a passion and a sense of doom about him, damm good character!

Well this is a rather conceded thread, but anyway...

Silmarillion: Druagluin... not actually because is a Real Bad Dude, but he rocks anyway...really probably be Enerdhil The Grey-Elf, Crafter of the Elessar

The Lord of the Rings: I must admit I would be Borormir too, I would attempt to take the Ring, but only for the good of my people.

Roverandom: Rover of course! = P

I'd like to be Elrond, from Lord of the Ring, or Gil-galad, in Lord of the Rings too,

I'd probably pick Feanor, because of his awesome fighting skills, and also because he made the Silmarils. They have always held sway over me. The idea that one can get the light of the two great trees in three jewels is incredible. I would love to have a diamond like that some day: that you can see a clear light eminating from it! Good luck guys!
