Merlin's oak

    I'm not sure how much it's mentioned in the legends but Merlin had a large oak in his birthplace of Camarthen in Wales.

    A poem he supposedly recited once ran thus:

    When Merlin's oak comes tumbling down,
    down shall fall Camarthen town.

    Anyway, when the time came for a new road to be built... they cut it down. It's still in the museum there.

    In the same year Camarthen was almost totally flooded...

    Cooincidence? Are we all doomed?

    I don't believe in coincidence myself. So why not? What would be so wrong in accepting that men can perform magic?

    Well...whats wrong with it is lack of proof. Sorry, but I'm one of those wierdo's that have to see to believe... = P

    But that's not being weird at all! It's a good thing, actually! And I'm quite sure that one day you will see. :) I was a bit skeptic about this kind of stuff, myself. But in time I developed some unshatterable beliefs. :)
