Are there any fans of ASOIAF that also own the game Medieval II Total War?

Because there's a mod on the game that allows you to play the game in Westeros...

it's still being improved, but as it stands its still REALLY cool and worth a try. It's great.

I've heard great things about it and I have the game - -buuuut I've not got it all installed :(
You need the expansion kingdoms and I still hve to clean out a lot of junk to fit that on my system

Are you sure you need kingdoms?
I'm not doubting you i just wasn't aware.
I'd say it's worth clearing some space for, depending on what you already have on your computer.

It's a hard choice between games and moths at present!

that said I'm looking to uninstal most of my games (should free up a good 100GB) and install them onto an external drive (currently used just for photo backup and a full 1TB in size) and then just run them from there as and when needed.

I gave this a try some days back, quite enjoyable but for a few things. First off I thought the characters aged too quickly, and missed customized models for them, on the battle screen that is. The fact that some of Renly's knights were just riderless horses and several of Stannis' units were invisible were a bit of a downside as well, but I can always hope that will be fixed in the future.. All in all it was pretty entertaining, I mean come on, who doesn't want to storm King's Landing, capture Joffrey and then execute him?
