hello folks my son wants maps of harad so if you have any please post them thanks
I don't think their are to many out their, at least from what I have seen. Its more of a dry area for Tolkien, he didn't provide much about the east...
Yeah that's a bit of an odity on Tolkien's part, he's usually very exact about where his countries are. I mean sheesh in the Silmarillion he devotes an entire chapter to telling you what all the regions are and where their boundries are. But he kinda leaves everywhere east of Mordor a big blank spot....
yes but harad is SOUTH of mordor
Anybody have the atlas of middleearth?
As Radaghast said, it was one of the places without much info, only the 'free' or 'good' peoples places were really developed, bar maybe Angband, even Mordor didnt have a great description or mapping. And Harad/South Harad was barely important really...
There are maps of Harad available on the net...I'm sure of it. I've come across several..wait let me check for you........
Ah! here you go!
This is the actual map, the second one is an overall map of ME just to let you get your bearings
They're not that good, but if you search in Yahoo! I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for
hmmmm it sorta looks like africa and i dont recall the grey mountains so close to harad because im not sure the dwarves of the grey mountains had affairs with the haradrim often? did they?
