This was in another forum. I want to hear your thoughts: "Has anyone else heard/read about this??? I heard about it today in psychology class today...There are men who are volunteering themselves to the ignoble (sorry if you disagree, but that, I guess, is the point) "cause" of male pregnancy. Basically, they implant the embryo, which attaches to a vital organ, such as the liver, and then the man gives birth to the child through Caesarian section. Does anyone else feel there is something wrong here? Why do people support this? And, as my psyche teacher alluded to today, don't you think our doctors and scientists could be better employed to research something else, like I don't know, say...Curing cancer, or AIDS, or other chronic illnesses/fatal diseases? Or how about working harder to perfect (though the situation is not bad as it could be) female child-birth? Or doing just about anything other than this...To me, this is playing God (of course I also don't approve of cloning, genetic engineering, manipulating "your perfect baby", or a number of other boundary-demolishing acts). Other opinions? Let's hear it..."
