Try a google.co.uk search for "leather armour" or "leather spaulders" or "leather pauldrons" (same thing, different name) or normal google search for companies that ship to UK.

The UK has heaps of re-enactors so hopefully there'd be enough demand to support a local armouring business. Unlike Australia which isn't big enough in the re-enactment scene to support many armourers or smiths.

What style are you after? Historical or a personal/fantasy design? I made some myself based on Eomer's pauldrons from LOTR:

    Well, get Googling :)

Are they just for costuming and/or light impact use, or do you require full-on protection? Ie are they for wearing at a ren fair or are they for SCA or metal weapons combat?

I'm not trying to be rude mate but there are heaps of SCA websites out there. There's probably even a main UK SCA website that'll have construction how-to's for armouring, and/or people you can contact directly for advice on buying materials and making them into armour suitable for SCA combat. We've got a few SCA members here but I'd suggest looking to Google UK and doing a search for a local SCA barony.
