I think the guys that were going to start this have disappeared to be honest!

Chaos Engine is suffering from complications brought on by a botched medical procedure, which is why he hasn't posted in When Darkness Descends. He's in quite a bad way, so I doubt TFF is high on his list of priorities at the moment. I'm sure we all wish him the best anyway. As for the others, well, that's the risk you take when starting an rpg on a forum: people drift off and leave you hanging. I enjoys rpgs, but the main reason I've avoided the ones here is precisely because people's commitment cannot be guaranteed. Such is life.

Thanks for the heads up on what was going on. I had no idea. Sorry to hear this, please pass on my regards and wishes for a speedy recovery (as I presume you see him in real life).
Have you thought about joining in the WDD rpg? I am sure you would be welcome!

No problem, and I'll pass your best wishes onto the grumpy old sod. As to the rpg, I'll pass thanks. I've found a forum which doesn't allow kiddies on it. That suits me. Not that there's anything wrong with kids, as such. I just have no inclination to communicate with them. Good luck with the rpg - hopefully Chaos will be back to join you soon.

Complications? I think needing a full blood transfusion counts as more than a complication. Sadly, I don't think Chaos will be returning to the forum anytime soon. It's probably best if you all carry on without him.

As Unhinged seems to be lurking about I'll express a tentative interest in joining this, but only if the GM plays an actual part in the story i.e. throws up obstacles for the PCs to overcome. If it's simply an exercise in very short story writing, though, I'll have to pass. In my experience, without the active participation of the GM these things tend to go south rather quickly...

I don't have much time at present to set this up, but when (if) I do I'll be running it along the lines of a traditional tabletop RPG, or the nearest I can get to that considering everyone logs on at different intervals.:)

You can count me in, then. I'm not sure how it will work (presumably there'll be no stats involved unless you plan on rolling d6s from wherever you are?) Either way, it'll be an interesting experience if nothing else.

I haven't worked out all the details yet. I'll let you know when I do. Go play outside in the meantime. I may be a while.

If you're planning on this being a proper RPG it requires a certain trust on the players' part. I'm not sure you're so reputable...

I'll still give it a go, though. It's not like I have an actual life to live.

If you are planning to have a go at this and promise to see it out, I may well be interested in having a go. Depends how you want to run it, I like the "short story" style but I am definitely open to other versions of doing it.
