I voted Neverwinter. Seems like the most stable settlement of the lot altho idk abt the first two choices. Ten Towns, as aptly put in Sojourn, is a place for rogues and outcasts. Menzoberranzan is just way too batshit insane. Waterdeep's got way too much politics going on as far as I know. Luskan? Well I've still yet to read The Pirate King. But from the little I knew abt that area, it's pretty chaotic in a certain sense albeit not as batshit insane like any Dark Elf cities. :S

Most if not all of these cities are not completely safe for anyone to live in so I guess I would prefer to live in Athkatla or Baldur's Gate.

Actually Candlekeep would be one of my first choices if not for all the mages in there :/

I reall like Candlekeep and it looks quite safe and quiet.I would love to live there, but as I said it's full of mages and it's more of a big castle rather than a town or city.

So I guess I'll vote for Athkatla!

    You played Baldur's Gate right?

Basically you can't talk to those Mages, they'll slap you down and charge you like 10,000 gold pieces for having the priveledge of being slapped by them. Unless it's Tethtoril; he's awesome and nice and stuff.

Hmm tbh, if I was in the Baldur's Gate realm I don't think I could settle in one place. I'd be like OMG I'M IN FORGOTTEN REALMS and be "questing" around Abeir-Toril finding treasures, rescuing beautiful women and becoming famous; or so I hope!

lol forget my first answer, I didn't see the other thing, I would want to live in mithral hall, because then I would be able to work with one of the strongest metals in the world. I like to work with my hands you see.

I think it was Lonelywood too.I've finished Icewind Dale and I've been half-way through Icewind Dale 2 and it's nice that you actually get to be in some of these towns.

If I'm not mistaken in Icewind Dale you start at Easthaven and get to go to Lonelywood, right?

And in Icewind Dale 2 you start at Targos.

I voted for "other" as there are two others that I would chose. Well, I would decide for Mithril-Hall and Silverymoon.
