Do they mention arwen and aragorns love in this book? or in the first book too thanx
They don't mention it in the first book however i think that Aragorn is shown with Awren in Rivendell in the great hall
they dont really mention it alot in da books.... more in the movies
In the Appendix there is a story about Aragorn and Arwen.
yeah there is but not a lot
It is plenty in my humble opinion.
Actually the books do mention them but not directly. There are several mentions of Aragorns feelings for Arwen and Arwen's feelings for him.
Arwen is mentioned slightly in the third book when she goes to Minas Tirith with her father, Elrond, and Galadriel. She goes there for the celebration and kinging of Aragorn after Sauron and the ring has been destroyed.
As far as I recall, the only time Arwen is mentioned in a significant context is when Aragorn is wating for her to come to Minas Tirith. Other than that, the only reference to Arwen and Aragorn's love that I can recall is the mountdof Elanor flowers in Lóthlórien. The whole love story really is an insignificant thing in the books; one of my biggest contentions about the movie is that they made the love story such a major part of the film. I understand why, but I don't have to like it.
What Peter did inn his film whas just so irritating in the book Tolkien dint write openly aboute their love becouse he must have nown that it woud make it into to much of a love story!
yeah. i love how its now a trilogy and not a single issue. (or whatever the word is for single movie.?)
