So am I... At least that's what I think of myself. I've dropped the hard sarcasm for one thing. Keep myself mostly out of debates, especially religious ones.

Haha, probably a good idea. :p But seriously...I have a good friend who has very similar views as you do, if I remember correctly. We have mild-natured debates about all sorts of things that with anyone else, would get me pretty riled up. That's a hard quality to find, but it's giving me a good opportunity to discuss such things with fairly little emotion or hard feelings. I'm pretty sure that if I had met this guy online and we had had the same debates, I would have clashed pretty bad with him. But in person, and with knowing the person well and knowing they're fairly non judgemental despite our differences; I was surprised at how big of a difference it makes.

Now I'm rambling. It's friday night and I'm not in a terribly sober state of mind, but I think I got across what I was trying to say.

Oh, and also: Hello newbies :) It's neat to see that this place is still active, if not as active as it used to be (from what I have seen the last couple days).

I was just looking at your signature. When I first saw it I didn't recognize it. But then I started reading Witchblade, because I loved the art. And funnily enough it was Stjepan Sejic. Now he stopped with Witchblade and is doing Ravine. Though I do follow him now on DA and his second account. (can't remember the name of his second account). His art is fantastic though. I was really impressed first seeing it.

He's one of my favourite artists. I bought his first volume of Ravine - MORE than worth the money! It's absolutely gorgeous, and I can't wait for the next. I'm doing a Ravine fanart right now, actually :D But ya Stjepan is one of my favourites ever.

I should really get the first volume. I'm looking forward to it. Probably better than Witchblade. I already saw a lot of the art and some of the pages on his DA page.

Do it! It's only like $15, which is amazing, given the quality. Unlike most comics, which have people specifically for things like inking, colouring, writing, etc...he did it ALL except translating and lettering. Damn impressive, if you ask me. Every single page just made my jaw drop.....

Also, I've learned a lot watching his youtube channel.

I'm sorry to hear you were injured. I hope the effects aren't serious.

If its any consolation, you're still a magnificent warrior woman to me. ;)

Aw, well that does console me!

As to the effects...well, they were fairly significant. I was engaged at the time, and I woke up a few days later next to my fiance and I didn't know who he was or where I was and freaked out a little. A bunch of memory loss, and my short term memory is even worse than it used to be. Fiance ended up breaking up with me, citing my "change of personality" after the concussion as one of the reasons.

    Jeezus, Sen! That's really scary.

Sorry about the fiancé. I'll just say it's his loss.

I'm glad you remember me. ;)

She's baaacckkk!!! :) Welcome back Sen!

That sucks for you :( I know how much you used to enjoy it. At least you have combat archery as an outlet to still get on the field.
I don't fight currently due to kids (I had kids!) but I plan on getting back into it one day....fairly common for us breeders to take a few years off when the kids are really young :)

Yeah, things change as have we all. The LOTR movies were the real driving force behind this place when it first came online, I think it's how most of us found it. And lots of us stayed due to the sense of community. But it's definitely different nowadays.

I hope you're doing okay now, that concussion sounds like some scary stuff. Please strap an entire peacock worth of feathers onto your archery helm so some heavy doesn't smack you when they shouldn't.
