So most you have probably noticed that J. K. Rowling seems to sneak in meaning for the names of her characters, often realted back to Greek Mythology. Think Sirius and Regulous who are named after stars that were Greek names for dogs (at least Sirius is).

So my point anyway, is do you know of the origins of any other first or last names that appear in Harry Potter?

I know Hermione is named after a Greek Princess, though at the moment I can't recall who exactly.
