It's been a while. About a year, I think How's everyone doing? Any news? Gossip?

oi Julie! Nice to see another familiar face.
To give you the pulse of TFF, we've had a bit of a revival during the winter, but should winter ever have come - it's pretty much over now.
It did give rise to a TFF meetup, though - let's call it a reunion by now. It's going to be the last weekend of July, in Gdánsk. Feel free to join
Oh, a TFF meetup! Isn't that the first one ever? Can't come 'cause I'm in the States at that time drinking Long Island Ice Teas..
Well, there has been one in the US once waayyyy in the past; I believe it was in New Jersey, hosted by Nienor. But that was surely more than a decade ago.
Sooo you're on the wrong continent. Again.
Y'all are just avoiding me!
ah, the girl with the best avatar on TFF is back. WELCOME!
T'is so nice to see ya!
Yesssss, that's me. Are you still making inappropriate but genius drawings of TFF-womenfolk?
Right back at ya. How's Canada?
Good I think! :dvhow are you?
Nope, ran out of inappropriate girls.
Also too busy these days to stop and draw and paint.
That doesn't sound very convincing!
Good, good. I'm writing for a living, so I'm poor, but I'm poor and happy
Yeah where have Emmelie, the one with the horses and running wolf run off to??
You shouldn't stop drawing and painting, you're too talented.
What do you write?
My happiest days were working for peanuts when I was in my early 20s, and painting backdrops and building props for small theatre houses. Pay was awful, deadlines ridiculous, but it was very rewarding. Plus, it's not a stereotype, most guys involved in the theatre are gay... so I was in demand from very bohemian-minded women who wanted something more than clever chitchat.
I could never ever return to those days, as I have a mortgage payment every month, but I still have fond memories that at least for a short while I got to do what I wanted for a living. Meager as that living was.
