Don't think that would work. He's thirty million times as annoying as any music.

Okay, can I ask, once and for all....... What is the problem with Jar Jar??? Cause he's silly? So what!! He's meant for the kids and kids love him! I dont mind him at all! I dont quite understand the hatred some people seem to have for him, thought they'd maybe be happy after seeing that his stupidity actually had a purpose in Episode II.

I certainly don't speak for all, but for me what really irritates me about JJ is that he brought the original humor of Star Wars to a tragic low. What made the originals comedic at times were not silly voices or slapstick necessarily, but WIT; and this is something that Jar Jar is very much lacking!

Yeah, that's my thing with him. He's trying to be funny, but not with wit, so it just comes off as annoying.

I dont think he brought the humour out---- the reason he is there is cause if he was taken out of the movie-- it would be too boring for the poor little kids! And they are kids movies lets not forget

True that they are obviously enjoyable for all ages, but Lucas made it very clear (Beyond the Stars doc) that he based his storyline on tried and tested story lines/mythology. Therefore the overall philosophy and message of the films is very much for discerning minds.

Yeh thats true, its for all ages. And yes there are alot of things that young audiences will not get until they are older (like us I guess lol), but alot of Episode I would be boring for kids had it not been for the presance of Jar Jar. He's not to be taken seriously--- he's just there for fun, and nothing to get annoyed over, he's a great edition to the Star Wars universe, truely unique as all the characters are. I get so annoyed when I hear people say that they wish there was a "Han Solo type character" in the prequels. Why? Han Solo is such a great character so dont over do it in my opinion! Leave him for the later episodes. And so Jar Jar is a unique character for the prequels....

For me it is likely the common tendency to view everything new as not quite as good as the original. Growing up and witnessing SW for the first time was amazing, like nothing seen before! Therefore the aura of sarcasm and wit is what I missed most about the two new episodes - they didn't have that same feel, almost as if they weren't as intelligent of movies. What I mean by intelligent is that they relied more on the effects and less on the dialogue. I know, I know we have been over this!

I understand where ur coming from completely. But the first 2 episodes are far more serious than the originals, especially politically speaking. The 2 trilogies are different in style, but thats good! They stand alone

Yeah, alright I'll let you believe that - but back to topic; how should they kill Jar Jar!?

I vote for an old-fashioned drawn and quartered Jar Jar - with four Wookies at each limb!

NO! He changed that? Jar-Jar doesn't die? NOOOOOO!

If Jar Jar was just there for fun, he wasn't doing a good job. He was more a good thing to ruin the movie.

He didnt ruin the movie, calm down. Why was his character in the prequels at all? Cause he is the one who is stupid enough to give Palpatine emergency powers.

But there could have been some other weak minded fool to do that. It need not be annoying, stupid Jar Jar.

No, they are all powerful people in the Senate, not weak minded at all--- Jar Jar is the only one who has an importnat position and thats simply because he was accidentally a hero in Episode I, so now he is a representative for the Gungans.

okay, he's annoying, but get over it...He had a much smaller part in ep II, maybe because George realised the fans thought of him annoying. But he's not going to die. There was even talk that there would be a new scene added in ep IV where you see palpatine dismantling the senate including alive and well JarJar Binks

People, people, we are forgetting something!! One word. Ok, ready for it? CLONING!!!! Clone Jar Jar ten times for each of us (well, the ones of us who wish ill of him) and keep the origional locked up in a really small, dark room. Then we can mutilate each clone in whatever way seems best for us at the time! YES!!!!

woulda been nice to see a backstory to Vader's statement to Boba Fett is ESB ("...no disentigrations..."), by seeing little Boba fry Jar-Jar in Ep3. unfortunately, GL has said this will (unfortunately) not happen :(
