It is... was an Asus STRIX GTX 970. When turning on the PC a white LED lights up (and not the red one, which lights up when there's something wrong with the power AFAIK) and the fans work, but none of my screens got a signal. I googled the problem and some people suggested to update the BIOS, which I did, to no avail. I checked different cables, made sure everything was plugged in correctly, and used to different screens with VGA, HDMI, and DVI to check whether anything was wrong with the cables, outlets, or screens. I returned the graphics card yesterday (thanks to Amazon's return policy) and am planning to get another GTX 970, but maybe from another brand. If that won't work it's probably my motherboard that can't handle the GTX 970. (It's an Asus F2 A55-M LK.) Though I seriously hope the card was just defective. D: Oh yes, definitely. I'm pretty calm at the moment when thinking about the meeting, I'm too busy being anxious about university-related stuff, but I'm sure the hype will come up eventually.
