I am currently working on a fantasy story, whilst taking a small break from my career long project. It is about a boy who, in the current world is transported into another world of fantasy. He is merely a human in a world not of elves dragons or dwarves, not even another human lives there or is in existence. The Human race is either extinct and no record of their existence is kept that no known being even knows the term human. The human embarks on a quest to find his way back home. To see his mother, his brother, his father and people of the church...One last time. On his journey, he makes friends with a vampire, a reptilian, a snow fairy, a succubus, and a lava spirit. Much to his dismay at the end of the first book i have planned, he discovers through an ancient vampiric wisdom that there is no portal back to the human world. It was destroyed long ago. The Theme I am going for overall, is learning true acceptance. Learning to accept things that we cannot change ourselves, or to accept things that cannot be reversed. What do you think about this? Thoughts or ideas?
It's a pretty interesting concept, especially with the play it could give you with how creatures in that world start to perceive humans as the protagonist's adventures go on.
If that were on the back cover, I'd have my curiosity peaked enough to seriously consider buying it on the spot.
Keep us updated! I'd love to hear about the progress and if you run into any snags we can help you sort them out! Good luck!
Well Dreamscaper i am working on two projects at once, but will not neglect it. I hope to have this project done by january, maybe ready to publish soon after. If you are interested I have another book for you to read. It is not written in a horror style but more in the sense of adventure and spirituality.
It is about an elf who left his homeland in persuit of something else. In the process of moving he loses part of his self. If he did not make a home, he would have lost all sense of reality. Due to turning events, it forces him, Kac to return to his homeland(forcefully). He finds his self, and realizes his true purpose in the world. Does this make sense to you? It is called Secrets of Terra Silenti. P.S How well do you know your bible
