hm...I know the elven rings have been passed down to other people..but

    Exactly how many times..?I don't think they show it in FOTR, I could read it in the books..or I could ask my fellow peers! Didn't Gandalf get his ring, from Elrond..?..The ring goes onto so many fingers, I am very confused.:confused:

    Well I know Gil-Galad gave his to Elrond..and Cirdan gave his to Gandalf I believe...

    Correct. And Galadriel was the only one to have Nenya. Elrond had Vilya, and Gandalf had Narya.

    yep, thats all true, they really didn't go onto many hands, just two rings were passed down
