What are orcs exactly? In the first movie they say that the Orcs were elves who were corrupted by Sauron, but I as wondering if anyone had a more detailed answer to the wherabouts of their origin. Also how are they born? All I have currently is the movie to work off of and that doesn't answer my questions about their pasts!

I think you'd have to hit the books for the proper answers - The Silmarillion probably details part of the history of orcs and there are a few "guide" books to middle earth that give a quick summary of key creatures and characters.

For the true source you could also go back to the original Norse mythology from whence all of Middle Earth comes from (a delibrate move by Tolkien)

well it is true that orcs used to be elves, so there is actually discussion whether or not they are immortal as elves themselves

they were corrupted my Morgoth himself

there is not much told about the process of transformation though

But how do they breed? Are there any accounts od orc women anywhere? Or are they sexless and bred like insects with a Queen?

book-wise, they seem to breed either through physical reproduction like any other creature, or sorcery. the uruk-hai in the movie seems to portray a mix of the two, with the creatures being birthed from the ground yet needing sauron and saruman's sorceries to live, while the cave-goblins seem to reproduce physically like animals.

Orcs aren´t that well explained by Tolkien. We never know exactly they are formed out of, but It´s safe to assume they weren´t made out of men, dwarves or elves. One can assume from Tolkien´s writings that they were shaped out of some of the maia that Melkor brought to his cause, imbued with a portion of his will and power.
