Lol, yeah a hill like Arthur's seat. I still have to climb that actually. Yeah it's not really a wee hill. But the view should certainly be worth it. I guess we also didn't really get the time yet and we were also more walking around in the city itself when in Edinburgh. I would like to see Skye personally. That reminds me of what you see in Brave and watching movies you see that they film a lot of landscapes of Skye, even when it's not even set in Scotland. It's of course practical to kind of live in the centre of Scotland because you're not that far North either, so a vacation to the Highlands is not such a problem either.

Ephemeral now that you mention it, I think he was a bit shifty. ;)

Skye has gorgeous views but it is rather remote, perfect location if you want to take in the beauty and knock back a wee dram. Scotland is lucky in that everything is relatively close (unless you go to one of the nearby islands) and has great trails for hiking.

Sweet, think they'll have the big wheel on Princes Street as well. Haven't been into town for a few weeks but it usually goes up around this time. Will you be staying for Hogmanay? Not sure who'll be ringing us in.

    Haha yep :)

Anakin and I went on the big wheel with my mum a couple of days after Hogmanay this year. Was FREEZING but worth it lol We won't be IN Edinburgh for New Year, we usually have a quiet night at home for that lol Though will need to take Anakin to see it one year :D

You definitely need to. Princes Street on hogmanay is something else. Just make sure that you're wrapped up warm when you do.

The last time I went was in 2002 I think :s No joke. But I've never gone with my hubby yet. Really hope the weather remains bearable *crosses fingers* Last year was fine but the two winters before that we got snowed in! Not a fan of cabin fever lol

Hahaha ye it's like a throwback to the eighties with the snow. Hoping we don't get any this year except for on Christmas. It's nice to look at but the slush, yuck.
