sure it's bad quality and the choice of the immigrant song is questionable.. but otherwise this looks amazing :D and i can't wait <3

Cool trailer, cool music.I liked the Swedish version quite a lot, though I had hoped Blomkvist would be more attractive. :p

The Swedish version exceeded my expectations in every way :D
But yeah, I'm used to their Blomkvist and all but according to the book it seemed like he was more attractive and a big ladies man
either way i love the swedish actors :) and the girl who played Lisbeth is going to be in sherlock holmes :D random but yeah

Yeah I also think they're great actors, doesn't matter much that the Michael guy didn't live up to my expectations. :p It's like the Sirius-experience all over again!

My sister thought that Lisbeth Salander looked too attractive in the film, but I don't remember that she was described that unattractivly in the book..

much better quality! it literally gave me goosebumps :D

What exactly is the sirius experience? lol i'm retarded :p

and i think that she was described as 'somewhat' unattractive, but she had a sort of quality to her that made people attracted to her anyhow despite how she looked. i don't know, i like the new lisbeth but i don't know why they had to bleach her eyebrows :O

I love these books, but I didn't really like the American film version, and only like the Swedish film version a little bit. In the end I think the extent I love the books is so strong that no film will ever live up to it for me. I think they're some of my all-time favourites books, and the films just never seem to capture what really mesmerises me while reading the books.

Yeah Noomi Rapace, right? I love watching international stars ascend through the U.S. "Hollywood" ranks and become stars in the States, too.

I have never watched it, but people say they much prefer the original version. But often original things are better :p

What was most embarrassing? Was it the rape that was more uncomfortable or the sex scenes?

It was an excellent movie, despite the graphic scenes. I really loved the girl.

I personally loved the origina Swedish trilogy, but I am disappointed as to how most Hollywood producers are resorting to make almost every film nowadays remakes of fantastic movies which should be remained untouched. If these producers care so much about"reintroducing the film to American audiences", why not just gain the right bring the original film back into theaters i but in our country so said audiences can be shown the great film you claim it to be, instead of showing us this great film with your own movie?

Well, knowing that they've read the books, and them knowing I read them, then watching the films with them.

Just about everything related to the nether regions (or oral at one point) was embarrassing.

The American version was a lot more accurate as far as following the books, in my opinion.

    Except for the language. heh

I've watched them all in Swedish with English subtitles, and realised that at some points I didn't need the subtitles. I hate dubbed films (all films are dubbed to french, which is horrible)
