Ok so I had an idea (no body panic). In alot of stories TFF is seen as a semi-united nation and each of its sub-forums are states or kingdoms. Well every nation and state has a flag so why not see if we can make a flag for each one or atleast TFF as a whole. Plus it could be a weekly competition. Each week is a different section's flag.

Just a thought from your friendly neighboorhood troublemaker,

Well I thought so but it's up to the House Members to decide if they want to take it up or not...

COA's were used for houses- ie. Royality, and then when the country got a flag, they just adopted the COA of their royality. Right?

and thats a great idea, Elladan. It has a better chance of ending up cooler. Why didn't i think of that?

For some nations sure (like the UK) but others who haven't had a monarchy have also got them ~ perhaps they just didn't want to feel left out :D

You usually see those COA on the flags themselves....I think...lol

I think Serbia and Albania have so anyway....

My family has a CoA :O

Most old families do :) However in the UK at least the arms do not encompass all descendants of the original individual to whom the coat of arms were granted, only the eldest male (or exceptionally female) surviving line. Ours for instance is correctly held by my Uncle but he has no children so it will pass to my Dad, then my older brother and his (any) sons unless I can change that *evil chuckle*

But that's all going off-topic lol

My vote would be coats of arms as more scope for design and heraldry is far more fantasy-like than flags, well I think so anyway

They have flags in fantasy. Flags hold a lot of meaning imo. Personally a CoA on the Flag would probably be the best idea.
