    so...There's a Renaissance Festival...and a Celtic Festival....is there a Medieval Festival that i'm missing out on?? If there isn't, THERE SHOULD BE!! That would be awesome.

    Here in the states they're all called "Renaissance Faires" regardless of the focus. Most of them should be called "Fantasy Faires" as they really don't emphasize accuracy of any kind.

    My family and I attended a one-weekend faire this last Saturday in Wichita, KS. In spite of the "Renaissance" title we usually go medieval , as we did this weekend.

    Faires are a lot of fun, unless you're one of those who takes things too seriously.
