I love almost all of them...I used to like Medieval Total War a lot,but since the other games came out it was just too primitive to play and annoying when it came to some things like making money, the rebellions and the map.

My super-favorite so far is Empire Total War because I love the era,it's the first Total War game that I actually...finished with short campaign and long campaign and spent lots of hours playing it.And I also love the fact that the economy is so much easier to handle in this game!Lol! :p

Right now I am playing Medieval 2 Total War(finished the short campaign with the English already)and Kakashi is right it's an AWESOME game. One of the best medieval era games ever.
I'm also playing Rome Total War again, trying to finish the short campaign with the Julii.

Shogun 2 is amazing...simply fantastic but too heavy for my laptop and until I get an internet connection to install it on my PC I'll have to wait...

Medieval 2 Total War seems to have the most number of awesome mods, and I love me some mods. I especially like The War Of The Ring mod.

Plus it has some cool expansions like Britannia and Teutonic.

Haha I was thinking about the same yesterday but I really wouldn't want them to make a sequel to Rome.I would like to see if they could make a Fantasy Total War or something like that.Or a WWI game but it would have to change most of the battle system to fit modern weapons.

Still so far my favorite is Empire Total War because I simply love it.British Empire FTW.......

Kakashi and Kelmourne which peoples do you usually choose in Medieval 2 ?

A fantasy total war is was I've been dreaming of for years!

Mostly ever since all those teasers for Battle for Middle Earth never came close to living up to the hype (which is being somewhat aided now by the new ASOIAF RTS game which looks cheap :( )! The option to have large land armies combined with beasties and dragons and the like would be outstanding!

As for the existing games I can only play Rome at the moment, but I loved Medieval 2 when it was installed! Great games in general :)

Moors, Egypt or Denmark. I've recently been having some fun with Hungary as well.

I like the moors because they are so removed from the Mongols until later on.

All I do for economy for any faction is build roads, farms and ports. After that markets, warehouses, etc.

Yeah, I face the same problem from time to time. Because I mean army upkeep is basically like 90% of my profits at some points :D or sometimes more than that and that's when it's really bad. My tip is just take a bunch of cities, and sack them all :D that should get some good money. Try sacking rome ;)

Haha they'll be pissed :D but who knows if they'll attack. You probably shouldn't actually sack Rome but try sacking some of the cities in the Holy Land. Have you done that already?

Nooo...I almost retook all of Anatolia(patriotic dreams...)and then moved north to take the coastal cities of Dalmatia to prevent attacks from the Venetians. But I've been on the defence since then!

If you're going to take on the Catholics make sure of one thing --- that you've crushed em all before you sack Rome :)

Cause then there'll be nobody to sack you!
