I like these ones too!
My fave would be bilbo's walking song which gandalf hums at the start of FOTR:
The road goes ever on and on,
Down from the door where it began,
Now far ahead the road has gone,
And I must follow if i can,
Pursuing it with weary feet,
Untill it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet,
And whither then I cannot say.
Thats all i can remember without referance. It's nice and jolly and helps you keep up beat on a long walk on a dreary day.
I like Legolas' at the end of Return of the King:
To the sea, to the sea, the white gulls are crying
The wind is blowing and the white foam is flying
West, west away, the round sun is falling
Grey ships, grey ships, can you not hear them calling
The voices of the people who have gone before me?
I will leave, I will leave the woods that bore me
For our days are ending and our years failing
I shall pass the wide waters, lonely sailing
Long are the waves on the Last Shore falling
Sweet are the voices on the Lost Isle calling
In Eressea, in Elvenhome, that no man can discover
Where the leaves fall not, land of my people forever!
