I liked the lembas scene, when Legolas says that one bite can last for days...and the hobbits talk, saying that they ate four and such...and then one farts!!! :D

I also liked the Lothlorien scenes. They made it beautiful!!

My favorite one is when Sam is walking out into the water and he goes despite the fact he has no idea how to swim. He shows his loyalty and how storngly he believes that his word to stay with Frodo is very important.

Here is where he truly proves he is willing to die and is well on his way to becoming "Samwise the brave" !

I like that one too, Charstar. That's a very good one.

I like it also when Pippin and Merry distract the orcs from Frodo so he can get away. They are true friends.

For me, it's the little things. The fatherly/grandfatherly relationship shown between Gandalf and Frodo. This can be seen throughout the movie, from the first hug, to the moment when Frodo says "I will take it!!" at the council of Elrond and Gandalf gets that look of pain across his face, realizing what Frodo has just voulunteered for, to the Mines of Moria when Gandalf and Frodo exchange about the task Frodo is facing..."I wish the Ring had never come to me..." "As do all who live to see such times...", to the look on Gandalf's face when he feels Frodo may have just been slain by the cave troll. Top that all off with Frodo's absolutely fabulous show of emotion when Gandalf dies at the Bridge of Khazad Dum...it's magic.

Boromir's scene where he tries to steal the Ring from Frodo...nearly word for word from the book. Exactly as I'd pictured it.

Sam's loyalty throughout. Put yourself in Frodo's shoes...at the end of The Fellowship of the Ring...he knows he's left Sam behind, along with the rest, and plans on going alone. Knowing the task before you, and yet having no idea of the literal hell that you know you're going to have to deal with to complete that task...then picture yourself doing it utterly alone...without any companionship...a very depressing and overwhelming feeling. Then Sam shows his reslolve...and a man who can't even swim risks death to stay by your side. To offer you that companionship. To be that helping hand both physically, and mentally. This is a true friend. All I can say is just wait. If you think Sam has shown his full potential yet...just wait.

    Boromir's stuggle

Not one scene, but several together (and much better on extended version) - Boromir's struggle with himself and with Aragorn is quite good fighting the ring working on him and the desrie to do what is best for his people. You can really see that inner struggle.

Also like Boromir's "they have a cave troll..."

^that was great. I also love the little fact knowing that before their actual scene(fireworks), the pippin/merry actors were on stage, carrying the cake...lol. :)

Another favorite scene was at the beginning, when Gandalf came, and Frodo and he were talking, and the fireworks went off in his cart to surprise the children. :)

My favorite scene is right at the beginning, the battle of the last alliance, looks really good, especially when the elves do the upward cut with their swords.

One of my favorite scenes was Boromir's speech during the Council of Elrond. The thing that made this scene so great was the music and the Gondorian theme in the background. Plus Sean Bean had a great tone in his voice.

I'd have to say that my two favorite scenes from FotR were the Council of Elrond and the part where Elrond and Gandalf are talking to one another, and Elrond says "Men? Men are weak."
