I am personally fond of the original 'Redwall' and I also like 'Outcast of Redwall' and 'Martin the Warrior.'

I read triss like 2 weeks ago and and rakkety tam 2 days ago.

I say loamhedge and taggerung and long patrol are the best.

Whats do you guys think is the best death scene?

I loved when whats his name gruven in taggerung died. That fox guy cut off his head that was good I hated gruven really annoying. Also In taggerung whyen the fox and his men come to redwall they asks tagg(The taggerung) wheres the taggerung(Because they didn't reconize them) tag says he is dead. I want tagg to go "I am him and I am gonna kick your ass!"

hi! I was lucky, I came in to the whole Redwall series when it first started, so thats always going to be my fav, but I did enjoy Mossflower, it gave a bit of background to a good story. I thought The Bell Maker was good, but I thought it lost something at the end. great series!

I bought Long Patrol in a little old bookstore in a small town off the coast of North Carolina last summer. Its one of the couple I STILL haven't read yet.

I have almost all of them. All but Marlfox, Loamhedge (I didn't like that one a bit anyway), Triss, Rakkety Tam, and Salamandastron. And I've read them all besides Rakkety Tam.

I read Pearls of Lutra first, so that one's dear to my heart. Mossflower may be my favorite...Tsarmina is wicked cool. The Long Patrol is decent (the battle of the ridge is undeniably awesome), and I like Taggurung pretty well too. Malfox is another favorite. Triss is decent.

    Aah, too many!

Gurthang, if you're looking for a good fantasy novel, don't waste your time. But if you want a quick and amusing read with some decent to good characters and battles, go for it.

I was pleased with Triss. I like the ones with the sea-faring stuff.

My favorite has to be Taggerurng. It is just amazing. I love the way he puts these little brain teasers in his books. Also the food at the feasts sounds just divine. Not to brag or anything...but I've read all of his Redwall books. They were all magnificint!

I loved Redwall-the original and the best! Kind of-Mossflower was also excellent. I also enjoyed Marlfox and Martin the Warrior. I don't really think there is much difference in regard to the quality of each of the books but some are just more memorable than others. I didn't really like Triss that much.
Also, have you noticed how with each of the newer books, the names just keep getting weirder and weirder!

I've read the Taggerung, which is a book associated with the Redwall series I think. It was very good.
