    Yep, that's my BJ!

I love the sword he made for the Macau exhibit. I'll have a chance to play around with it later this year and I'm looking forward to it.

To be correct, Peter designed the Brescia Spadona and the Regent but they're made by Albion Armorers.

Peter made the prototype for the Brescia. I did a bit of cutting with that one and it forced me to change my opinions on swords of that type. Peter didn't do a prototype of the Regent. By the time that one came along Albion had the process down pretty well, so Peter carved the hilt waxes and approved the blade's prototype, etc., without having to do a full-blown prototype.

The Macau sword was inspired by the poem The Jabberwoky. Peter has been wanting to explore swords inspired by modern literature and this one is his first project in that theme. This is Peter's interpretation of what a hero of Jabberwoky fame would carry. I'm told it's actually a pretty large sword when handled in person, with a blade around three inches wide at the base.

The grip is covered with tooled leather.

Not really, other than the fact that it has an acutely tapering double-edged blade. The basic sword is based on historical examples, with a little creative flair thrown in.

Here are some pics of Kurgan Sword from Highlander. When it comes to fantasy designed swords, I'm not crazy about them, but every once in a while something interesting like this pops out. Check out that oversized, 10" wide guard. It also has hidden "guard-blades" spring mechanism you might remember from the movie.

Price? $3.500,00. Something tells me I'll never have it.
