Things is with parksabers, they often look very cool, but some look too modern to say "that's a sw lightsaber!", no though they are lightsabers they sometimes look like something from star trek considering the style, most of the lightsabers that appear in star wars are based on flashguns or are made in an elegent manner like Dooku's or the one from Sidious. But if you take that double-bladed one from parksaber Sabbathus showed, looks badass, but not Star Wars

I had to vote for count Dooku's I love the style and how it feels in your hand. Altho blade colour wise I love Luke's from Return Of The Jedi.

These days my opinion has been changed, Dooku's was always my favourite, but now it's actually Anakin's/ Luke's from ep III, IV and VI. The episode III version is actually a bit different, it's more elegent, it has a laser incripted ignition button, with a golden clip next to it. It's really a cooler version than the flashgun version of Luke which was used in the old trilogy, but storywise it's the same lightsaber of course.

    No Darth Maul m8?
I agree Doku has..d a great saber, it looked great but I'm not sure about the bendy lower half, wouldn't that be more of a handicap while you ware twisting and turning it?

No, when I used it, it gave it actually an advantage that I could turn it more smooth in my hands.

yeah I know I'm showing off lol

anyway, Ray Park (Darth Maul) had some experience in fighting with long weapons thus he was one of the best actors or better said best stuntman to act like Darth Maul. Dooku needed a more elegent weapon, thus he got a curved one and he fights also more elegent because he really saw lightsaber fighting as an art. Mace Windu is more brutal though still a master in lightsaber fighting, he also has one of the coolest lightsabers (which I also have of course signed by Samuel L. Jackson:D)

    Did I mention I have the Double-Bladed lightsaber too?:p

Anyway the story behind the double-bladed lightsaber is that it's more dangerous to the one who wields it than it's opponent. That is why you don't see any Jedi with it. Darth Maul was one of the few who had a double-bladed lightsaber. I know in expanded universe more have one, but it was really a lightsaber meant exclusivly for Maul.

Besides, its very limiting on the staff moves that one can use, since he is unable to grab the end of the the "saber staff". Also, it just seems to me that swords have a more romantic tradition than staffs (or staves, I'm not really sure). I mean, could you imagine the Anakin vs Obi-Wan fight if they both had a saber staff?

I think Maul was the only one, i played almost every game and I'm rather certain that nobody has one, even though naturaly I did...silver in case you care.
I dunno about books though, i have a lot of them but never got around to reading them, the old influance bothers me tbh
Realy? The original Maul one or Academy or KOTOR replicas?

There was someone before Maul, namely Exar Kun, a very powerful Sith Lord. Probably they based Maul's saber on his...there's only one difference. The lenght of Kun's saber is as short as a normal saber which makes it a lot more difficult to wield it.

Yes there's him, but we never actualy see him, Ajunta had a dual wield to but not a lightsaber so I guess that dosen't count.
